Locks in the forums...

I see several long-time forum threads have been locked/archived because they are too long and creating problems with the website operation.
It's interesting to know they are locked because of length and not for content.

On another site I visit, all the blogs have been archived.
They opened a new site that appears to be dedicated for blogging.
All the individual sites they own had been separate, blogging is now under one umbrella.

I'm finding there are easily 50 new bloggers and no familiar faces.

Gearing Up.

The conflict in Ukraine is far from over or resolved but it seems the next planned proxy war is already in the making.

The Pentagon said on Wednesday that the United States has approved the potential sale of $619 million in new weapons to Taiwan, including missiles for its F-16 fleet.

Why can't there be peace internationally? confused

Biting with teethmarks

This is one of the things I like in a woman. Her wanting to bite me, and leave teeth marks on me. Her way of marking me for her own.

Her clamping down on me, depending where I want her to bite me at, a little hard a deep, and not letting go for about at least 3 minutes.

Pretty hot!

If you feel the same way with a partner, feel free to share it, whether it be you doing the biting, or you wanting to be bit. devil

Well, well, well...they found him (lol)

Heinz has found the 'ketchup' guy! But did he really want to be found? hmmmlaugh

Less than two weeks ago, Heinz set out on a now-viral mission to find Elvis Francois, the man who survived nearly a month at sea by eating nothing but ketchup and seasonings. On Monday, the company told CBS News that they found him in Dominica – thanks to the internet and local reporters.

Francois, 47, rose to internet fame earlier this year when he was rescued by the Colombian military, who shared that Francois became lost while working on his boat in St. Maarten after the weather shifted and carried him out to sea. He wasn't able to navigate his way home, so all he could do was "sit down and wait" – and live off the little bits of food he had on board, "ketchup ... garlic powder and Maggi," a brand of soup.

His story prompted Heinz to put out a call for people to help them #FindtheKetchupBoatGuy so they could gift him a new boat that they promise will be "equipped with full navigational technology to avoid another disaster in the future."

"The hunt is over," a spokesperson for Heinz told CBS News on Monday. "Through the power of social media ... Elvis was located in the Caribbean on the island of Dominica."

The company said that its Instagram post reached 4.8 million people and garnered more than 4,000 likes – a brand record. It helped them get in touch with local Dominica news outlet EmoNews, who the company said was able to contact Francois. In a Facebook post, EmoNews said that it "can confirm that the representatives of Heinz had a successful meeting with Elvis Francois via Zoom Conference call" on Friday.

"Heinz and Elvis are working out the logistical details of gifting him his new boat," Heinz said. "Anyone who shared, liked or commented on the brand's post helped broaden the reach and played an important part in finding Elvis… and Heinz wants to thank everyone who helped."

EmoNews appears to have found Francois last week, posting a video interview with him on their Facebook page. In it, Francois says he's "quite a mysterious person" who enjoys traveling and taking risks.

1408.......Number13....

Investigator & a paranormal writer who visits local so-called ghost spottings, stays there, and then writes about them in his books to prove that spooky places and ghosts do not exist. One day someone sends him a postcard from the Dolphin Hotel located within the city. On the postcard it reads "Don't stay in 1408" and of course now Mike wants to find out why no one should stay in 1408. Seeing a chance to prove another haunt false, he decides to go to the Dolphin Motel and stay in 1408...

The film follows Mike Enslin, an author who investigates allegedly haunted houses and rents the titular room 1408 at a New York City hotel. Although skeptical of the paranormal, he is soon trapped in the room where he experiences bizarre events.

The room is numbered "1408". Add each number together, and it equals 13 (1+4+0+8=13). The room is on the 14th floor, and the hotel skips the 13th floor, so the room is technically on the 13th floor.

An anonymous postcard to not stay in room 1408.

Dolphin Hotel)
Excellent story that will keep you watching as it bends not only John Cusack's mind but the viewers...

1408 is surprisingly interesting and lives
up to everything a
horror fan is looking for...

Absolutely worth a look.

Members with multiple profiles...

Medical research has confirmed that dating site members with multiple profiles often do this due to a traumatic experience in their childhood. Be it missing the bus and having to walk 5 miles to get to school or something more serious, like having your mother force you to lean over the casket and kiss your dead grandmother.

Medically, it's called Multiple Personality Disorder or MPD.

Whatever the case, they are known to resort to outlandish tactics to gain confidence with the other members, often by picking on one or more members in an attempt to bully or discredit them. However false, this does give them an authoritative sense of security and that odd personality feels they have accomplished something... enough where the more dominant personality comes back out again and they seemingly appear normal.

If you should know someone who suffers with MPD, please contact your nearest mental health clinic as they have trained professionals who are available to help.

There are several different treatments multiple personality disorders that may include talk therapy (psychotherapy) and more importantly medication. Although treating dissociative disorders can be difficult, many people learn new ways of coping and lead healthy, productive lives. The option to rejecting treatment could lead to things more serious like entering into multiple romantic relationships that hurt the other parties concerned.

Was the regime change in 2014 a coup?

Elon Musk calls 2014 Ukraine regime change a ‘coup’
© AFP / Justin Sullivan
Twitter CEO Elon Musk polarized his followers with a tweet declaring there was “no question” that the 2014 change of government in Ukraine was a “coup.” On Saturday, the billionaire tweeted that while “the election” – presumably referring to the 2010 vote that elected Viktor Yanukovych president – was “arguably dodgy,” what followed “was indeed a coup.”

No doubt in my mind either.

Bread & Cheese

Life is generally about relationships and how we navigate in and around them. There’s no avoiding everyday social interactions, so it’s really nice when they’re pleasant, loving, memorable, or positive in any other way. And, it’s natural to want to be a part of a relationship that could fulfil your needs in an holistic manner. That is, one that’s a blessing to you emotionally, mentally, physically/sexually and also spiritually.

Even the world’s wealthiest or most successful beings yearn for such a relationship, and they too know that money could only buy them so much (the illusion of happiness doesn’t last very long, nor does very much to mask the truth). Hence the frequent search for a friend, lover, companion, etc. is a universal one.

There’s a local Trini saying that “every bread has it’s cheese”, with some variants to that adding “stale" after ‘bread’ and even “rotten” after ‘cheese’(laugh). Bread and cheese go together to make a pretty decent sandwich (especially when you add mayo, a slice of tomato, and some cayenne pepper to spice things upgrin). The saying’s rough translation is that there’s someone for everyone. The problem with that, if it’s true, seems to be 1. How do I find my ‘cheese’ and, 2. Where is he located? But, that’s only if the saying is true.

What if we’ve met before and dismissed each other, does that mean that we’ll spend the rest of our life searching in vain? What if we live on opposite ends of the earth and never leave our respective end, how would we ever fulfil our destiny? Is that why some of us continually get married (then divorced), until we could find our designated ‘cheese’? Well, whether you’re the ‘bread’ or the ‘cheese’, the search in on-going.

Many of the CS population came here with the intention of doing just that. Some have succeeded, some are still on the hunt, and others may have moved on to other pursuits. This month marks the end of a year of searching for my ‘cheese’ on here, with no success. I’ve chatted with a few, was propositioned by at least 5, but haven’t said ‘yes’ to any. But then, none of them seemed to be my ‘cheese’. To be true, a few were just too cheesygiggle!

Anyhoo, as I contemplate my future in this regard, I wonder if my very own chunk of cheese is still out there somewhere….hmmm daydream uncertain
