Hi SM. thank you for reading and leaving comment. I called someone from cs site a Flying Dutchman. because he is a Dutch man and he appears and disappears here for already many years. Once he said that everyone on earth can get his 15 minutes of glory. So i ve just tested the theory))

Mello Yellow is a strange one daradloff, it appears here occasionally in the summer then disappears.I hear its disappearing from parts of the US too..
Can't recall tasting it but we get Mountain Dew its competitor which is a-ok..

Reminds me of being at work, there seems to be a lot of money to be made off of our vices, what if we had spent all this money on good things like space travel, or free dental, it would have at least allowed people to smile more.

Loneliness is a big problem, especially when you are surrounded by people you don't want to be around, give me one good buddy and the loneliness disappears.

Driving Down The Highway
Thanks, Ocean and Salamuna for your comments. Needed a short break. I love poetry, to be far away from it too long. Ocean, trying more with rhyming, makes words more musical. I have written sonnets before, but not as much as free verse. FV comes out naturally as the thoughts and inspirations come out. Same as Haiku, but counting the syllables. I am experimenting with short story writing, since I have a granddaughter who loves them. It is challenging because settings, characters, motivating the reader, and keeping up with the momentum requires creativity and imagination. My writing is not for $, only to share and perhaps change someone's steps in life.Salamuna hope you had a blessed New Year's as well as Ocean. I had a good one and wish to see brighter tomorrows.

I enjoyed reading this lovely descriptive poem very much.I find that listening to rainfall can be therapeutic, love how it can be melodic depending were it lands and refreshing it can be as it clears the air and waters the land and trees etc
