Give thanks that someone (s) remembered to give you gifts.
Wisconsin is too cold this time of years. If you were in my vicinity with this warm weather I have I sure would share your gifts, play some games, ride that bike, if you got a paint gun that would be my favourite game to play.

Dear,dear Mick such a lovely Christmas poem Christmas is losing its real meaning,its so commercialized,that few stop to consider as to why we celebrate.Its 13 yrs since I have had the peace & Joy of celebrating Christmas with my family.I just live in memories of those times.even the sacredness of attending midnight mass has not been on the agenda for 4 yrs now.It makes me sad.I will reply to your mail shortly. There are certainly a lot of people out there I wish I had never met, and knowing I have only four more hours this year with some of these at work , it is a happy feeling!

It reminds me of an old song by Soundgarden, called “Hands all over” that I’ve always loved- because of the music, naturally- but, the message is poignant and ‘on point’, too.

Very heartfelt. Nature has a way of encroaching on your soul when one has had a great loss. We notice things more and are more sensitive to what is going on around us. Our loss slows us down so that we are more aware.So sorry for your loss.

Something else that comes to mind...You can chase butterflies all over the field all day long and never catch one
But, if you sit still and quiet for a minute, one will come and sit on your shoulders.
I find this to be true...for everything in life.
