Im Chilly Willy the penguin. I shake until I’m blue. My head is hot and my feet are cold. Ha…Hee…Hachoo! Now what about the crocodiles along the river Nile? I’ll bet they’re always warm as toast. They always seem to smile. I’m always Chilly Willy. I’m frozen through and through. My nose is red and my tale is told. Ha…Hee…Hachoo!

A friend and church member passed away this week at the age of 48 - an unexpected death. Very sad week. He leaves behind a wife, daughter and his mother and father.

I leave you with my swansong, I am taking a long sabbatical to finish my children's novel I started last year and need to get back to to finish. I shall be gone for 6-12 months, but pop in from time to time to read the poems here. I shall not post or comment but this does not mean I shall not enjoy what I see. Only small thoughts... Solo piccoli pensieri...
This is a true story which happened about 8 years ago. Lori was from Knoxville TN. She was only 38 and she was beautiful. We were supposed to meet but she couldn't drive due to her surgery, then one day she didn't come online anymore. While she was alive I told her "I love you" I can only hope that gave her at least a small measure of comfort in her darkest hour.
