On July 23,2012, I was taking a load of cattle and a bull to a new buyer .While waiting at the stoplight, some fellows stopped to ask some questions about my truck and trailer, garnering some appreciative glances in the interim. I had just bought a 24 ft. brand new stock trailer and put a new trailer hitch in the bed of the pickup truck. While talking to the fellows, a semi with a sleepy driver plowed into the back of the stock trailer. The cattle were pretty beat up and bruised, the trailer hitch moved forward six inches, the stock trailer took a real beating and the truck bed looked like a beat up tin can. The impact caused a bad sprain in my knee, thus triggering a blood clot in my lower right leg. I passed out from the pain and the shock. I'm now on Coumadin (blood thinner-will be on it the rest of my life)and may be going back for yet more physical therapy. The cattle will be fine with some extra rations and aspirin boluses mixed into their feed. Insurance has seen to it that the truck will be repaired, the trailer will be replaced (Gotta love those warranties!)and I mailed the trailer hitch to the company I got it from to attest to just how tough those things really are. They sent me a new one and want my story. How the life of this cowgirl rancher is never boring.
Awkward to speak about, that feeling so insecure sometimes is really very natural and ok sometimes.
An honest poem about an honest horse. "No hour spent in the saddle is ever wasted" - Winston Churchill.

:") I loved 'Your knight in shining armour' by Mr. Fellsman so I wrote this one. ^__^ And I always think we should be our (own) knight, we should be strong. ^__^ Cheers! Ref: "Your knight in shining armour" by Fellsman If your aching heart's been broken I can fix it all for free If your dreams have all been shattered Just leave everything to me. If your friend or wayward lover Has abandoned you, my dear I will help you to recover That I promise without fear. If life's left you bruised and battered I will be your soothing balm Taking care of all your problems And I'll see you take no harm. Should ill fortune come your way That dragon I shall slay Or if you're simply feeling low I'll chase your blues away What e'er it is that troubles you I'll send you soothing Karma You may be sure I'll always be Your knight in shining armour.
Don't want to hear you cry in the dark Blaming yourself for missing the mark Don't want to see the world change your heart You're the same as you were right from the start Don't like to see you knock yourself down It breaks

A parody of the Everly Brothers Bye Bye Love. Hillary seems to have it in the bag and Trump seems to be there to help her.

I have translated the poem/lyrics put to music, added two links: one to the song performed by Alla Pugacheva and the other - to karaoke. Enjoy the song and follow the lines simultaneously. Have a good time!

Love again - there's no escape from it! Another translation of our Georgian poet. This must have been his first love - as it seems from the poem, but we all could relate, the most cherished and poignant memories are with the first love - no other love could compare!

IF YOU GO AND CLICK ON POST A COMMENT the whole tree shows up its awesome.. My little pear tree.. I was just mowing my grass.( 3 acres) I notices my little pear tree. its only 4 feet tall 4 inches at the base 2 lonely branches coming off the base and little twigs coming off that the the branches are like 2 inches around at the most.. I almost cut it down a few years back because i was sure it was dead.. I just didn't have the heart.. It is so loaded with pears at least 50 that is bent completely over touching the ground.. I have been so overwhelmed with my own grief and locked inside my depression I never noticed or I would have found a wedge for the 2 lonely branches.. Nature never ceases to amaze me.
