Belly dance

Embedded image from another site

As she danced
for her man
she became
larger than life.

She danced
to be outside herself
larger and more beautiful
and more powerful...

She took his hand
and on the edge of the ocean
they danced
to the light of the moon..

She realized
life is the dancer
and we are the dance..

CONVERSATION BETWEEN LOVERS

Hi honey! so how was your day?
good dear! and how was yours?
Well, just a fairy tale.

Can i have your ears?
So how many women did you gape at today
Shut up! you're being jealous , replied the man
No tell me, i'm serious and curious says Doreen

Well down to lovers business.
I have never tasted a lover's pudding
It only happens once a year
So romantic is the twenty fourth hour on valentine's day
You mean lover's day?
Commercial ploy"lover's day"
Everyday is lover's day,
A day is not sufficient for love
You see what i mean? lover's day a commercial ploy?

Honey, i feel romantic, and my jerusalem is already wet
What are you still waiting for?
I'm in a dream land baby,
imagining the journey to walk in the inn
I like to walk in with dignity,
If i arrive, how long will it take to complete the assignment?

Stop asking foolish question before my oil broke out!
Give me a hug and a kiss before the morning bell rings.
What a great night out with lovers.
Lovers have feelings! It's dawn.

About this poem:
Lovers can have any conversation, anything they say have a love pattern. They are happy, but some still believes on valentine's day, without knowing that, there is nothing like lover's day, because love doesn't last for a day. Lovers are people who have feelings for each other.

Thank you that you exist

Embedded image from another site
To you thank you that you nearby,
Even if nearby you are absent,
You virtual look
You grant to my soul light.
Thank you that has kissed,
But only it is a pity not in reality,
And that at the nights I embraced
It is a pity for a smile, not in reality.
You have presented me hope
And me not to spit any more,
What to me to wear clothes,
And what it isn't necessary to put on.
As it is good what is just possible
With you to speak about much.
And I didn't know, how difficult
Not to be darling, but to love.

Tribute to the apostle Paul

The young aspiring poet waited patiently outside the prison cell, and listened to the muffled voice of the Roman guard making the quiet reguest to the aged apostle. Moments later, the guard stepped outside the cell and remarked to the young poet, 'Paul will see you now.' Eager, yet nervous, the poet stepped and stood at the entrance of the cell, and beheld the mighty man of God. The cell was dank and cold, and Paul was chained. Only the flickering light of candle illuminated the half hunched body of this mighty warrior, and Paul turned from his writing and looked directly at the young man. A moment of silence, then Paul smiled at the young man, and speaking with such tenderness, Paul softly asks, 'How may I help you?' The young poet feeling embarrassment, clears his throat, and says,' Sir, I know of your great preaching and writing, and I am a writer myself. Other poets in my circle asked if I might seek you and learn from your mastery of words that we too might write such great things.' Again, the great apostle smiled and motioned for the young man to sit closer. Paul laid his gentle hand on the young mans shoulder, and inquired, 'What great things do you wish to write my friend?' The poet smiled, and said, 'We wish to write of truth and justice, and the true meaning of love, and how we might become known in the world as you have.' Paul looked intently into the young mans eyes, and exclaimed, 'You must be willing to live the the words that you write. 'If you will stay a while with me I will write you something.' Then Paul ajusted the half burned candle pulling it closer to the parchment he unrolled on a flat of stone slab. Paul dipped his pen in the vial of ink, and this time looking deeply into the young mans eyes Paul softly but with a certain sternness says, 'You must take this to heart. Then Paul writes these words: " Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a tingling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long, and is kind; love envys not; love vaunts not itself, is not puffed up. Does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked; thinks no evil; rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in truth; Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things..." IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE

Yesterday is always gone
Tomorrow never never comes
All we have is today
So why wish it away

Yesterday is gone to never return
That day no longer holds any fear
What is done is done and cannot be changed
Nothing about it can ever be rearranged

Tomorrow is a vague shadowy day
No sense in worrying today away
About possibilities of dreadful events
No sense in wasting time in torment

Enjoy this moment for that is all we have
Live it in joy, peace and happiness
In a blink of an eye it could be gone
And tomorrow really will never come

Kiwis - With pictures

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----

The kiwi is a fluffy fowl
With a long, slim, pointed beak.
But Kiwi's come to mean to all,
Folks of which I wish to speak.

I've made some friends online you see,
And they have taught me quite a bit.
The culture is quite int'resting,
They are a folk of soul and wit.

Whalers, sealers, traders and such,
They put the island on the map.
Shepherds, miners, farmers then came,
The rich resources there to tap.

Maori tribes lost all they had,
To greed and violence of whites.
This led to their almost collapse,
These horrid wars and bitter fights.

But now there's harmony so sweet,
As natives and Kiwis made peace.
With grit and courage they have won,
The trouble and the wars surcease.

Mountains, forests, beaches so fine,
Their island home has ev'rything.
This paradise in which they dwell,
Enough to cause a tear to bring.

Though I've only seen in pictures,
And some few videos and such,
It is a place I long to see,
Upon these shores I yearn to touch.

A Ship Set Asail

My life as you can tell
is not as perfect as it can be
so i throw a penny down the well
to see if fate will help me

But the door will close in my face
my dreams may not come true
i'll get confined to this tiny space
so i look up to the sky; to you

My dreams take me to a place far away
to sail far and wide
and i am free for just a single day
but then i had to run and hide

my ship crashed into the sandy shore
and carried me back to reality
my life has beenthrown to the floor
but my writing brought it back to me

A Tribute: Single Mom to Paul Walker/ Mr Mandela 2

I'm not much when it comes to Hollywood stars and all that
But you see Paul Walker... Sir; I owe you a lot
For what you stand for in life inspired my son so much
The passion, the humility, the willingness to share
Your fortune and blessings to the rest of humanity
Maybe in my case it cuts deeper even more
Knowing you died while raising funds for my people!

As I grieved for the passing of your young life that
Influenced and inspired the life of my child
Tonight I too must farewell the man who helped me
Keep things together while I was drowning.
Mr Mandela, the world's greatest Tata
Your passion, devotion, courage to keep your fight
Your patience, resolve, faith for your people to unite
You taught me sir how to forgive and love!

Thank you sirs for the examples that are your lives
Though unknown to you, like bright shining stars
You have sprinkled stardust amongst us!
Lucky we are to catch a glimpse of your light!
RIP to both of you for a job well done
Your memories will linger because as Thomas Campbell says:
'To live in the hearts we leave behind,
is not to die'-

City Bus

Embedded image from another site

I ride the city bus
the vast bowl of Biloxi
spreading out on horizon
mannequins in windows
homeless people babbling...

Maybe life
is like riding a bus
God is the driver
I am the passenger...

Perhaps I could
have ridden the bus
with Rosa Parks
sit in the front with her..

If I were
to have ridden
with Rosa Parks
I would have thanked her

For sitting next to me
for thinking of me..

On the city bus
you can be anyone
a Taliban terrorist
taking the bus into town..

I am anyone
on the bus
I know deep
down inside

I am no one
going nowhere
while children outside
ride broken back bicycles

in the empty mall
parking lot.....
