Yes Pedro,, warm country is much more advantageous,, less expenses in heaters,, houses are made of light materials,,so less expensive, and normally when it's warm, we eat less, if not light meals, we don't accumulate fatty tissues,, less depression due to abundant sunlight/rays,, people are gay.

if i had big money id move to a consent summer, maybe come back to ireland for a week or two thats my dream....
op you have a habit of asking the wrong type of question. both warm and cold environments have their own advantages and disadvantages. ive never lived in or experienced extreme cold but hope to someday. the coldest ive experienced is about -10 in the mountains here and abroad and the environment is truly stunning. ive experienced 40 odd heat. truly terrible heat but equally stunning environment. we re blessed with our mild weather here in ireland. it really isnt that cold here. its all relative.
As do I. beautiful seasons, the bugs disappear, no tropical parasites and diseases, and a guarantee of at least one medal at the Winter Olympics, and so, so many opportunities to snuggle! In summer it DOES get warm here...but then autumn arrives with its colours , and then comes the beauty of winter (why I end up enjoying spring!)
unlaoised: It's a trial at times, I must admit...especially coming from a warm country. More than the cold, the darkness bothers me. At the moment, it's dark by 4.30pm
Yes, I'd find that very difficult
I remember being in London with my daughter, making our way back to our digs in the dark and I said Wow! The shops stay open late here

Dave and I discussed this earlier, it's not easy living here for half the year, but the other half almost makes up for it. When we get 20 hours of sunshine, with glorious heat, it's a nice country to live in.

It's actually light until nearly 5 at the moment.
Yes, I totally get that
You live in a spectacular part of the world which I'm yet to visit and I do think there's something to be said for defined seasons.
Ours just kinda trip over each other and do a warm, cool, warm, chilly undecided thing so we wait for magpies to swoop and peck our eyes out for spring, flies for summer and a definitely-not-beach weather for the remainder
