Congress to hold 1st hearing on UFOs in over 50 years

Almost a year after a long-awaited U.S. intelligence report on UFOs provided few answers to what military pilots had encountered in more than 140 incidents, top Pentagon officials will face Congress on Tuesday in the first hearing in more than 50 years focused on UFOs.

The intelligence report could only explain one of the military's 144 encounters with Unexplained Aerial Phenomena, the military's new term used to describe UFOs, reported since 2004. That report did not contain the words "alien" or "extraterrestrial" and said that the unexplained UAP incidents would require further study. Still, it did say that most of the phenomena were likely physical objects.

Appearing before a House Intelligence subcommittee on Tuesday will be Ronald Moultrie, the Pentagon’s top intelligence official and Scott Bray, the deputy director of Naval Intelligence, who will be asked by members of Congress if there are any updates.

Committee chairman Rep. Andre Carson, D-N.Y., tweeted last week that "Americans need to know more about these unexplained occurrences."

At the hearing, the defense officials are expected to play videos of some of the encounters that military personnel have had with UAPs to demonstrate how investigators try to determine what is going on in the incidents, according to a U.S. official.

The public's renewed interest in UFOs has been sparked in recent years by the leaks of once classified videos and the Navy's declassification of videos that recorded its pilots' encounters.

Captive Russian troops claim commanders kill their own wounded soldiers

Captured Russian soldiers have accused their commanders of killing their own wounded troops rather than recovering them from the battlefield and sending them for treatment.

In a harrowing account to Ukrainian journalist Volodymyr Zolkin, the young intelligence soldiers described how one lieutenant colonel asked a wounded comrade if he could walk, the Mirror reported.

When the badly injured soldier replied that he could not, the high-ranking officer reportedly shot him – as well as several others — dead.

Another soldier told Zolkin, who has reported about Russian prisoners for Open Media Ukraine, that officers have “finished off their wounded.”

When the journalist asked him to elaborate, the soldier answered: “Just like that … a wounded soldier is lying on the ground, and a battalion commander shoots him dead from a gun,” according to the outlet.

“It was a young man, he was wounded,” he added. “He was on the ground. He was asked if he could walk, so he was shot dead with a gun.”

Another captive said the lieutenant colonel “shot four or five like this.”

A third told Zolkin that their wounded comrades “could have been rescued, given help, taken out of there. He simply shot them dead.”

It was unclear from the video where the alleged atrocity took place, where the soldiers being interviewed had been captured and what unit they belonged to.

Dmitry Peskov, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman, reportedly told Ostorozhno Media that the Kremlin has “no information” about the dead and wounded troops in Ukraine.

He was also asked about reports on social media by loved ones who can’t get the bodies of the dead soldiers in Ukraine.

“The captives are in trouble too … What will we do with our dead and will we exchange captives?” the Kremlin mouthpiece was asked.

“We do not have this information. It is with the Ministry of Defense,” Peskov replied, the news outlet said.

The allegations about Russian commanders killing their own soldiers follows a report that some demoralized troops have taken their own lives on the front line to avoid the conflict.

Andrey Ushakov, 20, claimed he knew two soldiers had committed suicide because they could no longer cope with the bungled invasion, which Russia launched on Feb. 24.

New Footage From Jan 6th Shows Capitol Police Herding Protesters Inside As They Enter the Capitol

Last week, prosecutors released two videos that blow apart the narrative that Trump supporters broke into the Capitol in an act of insurrection. In the videos, you can see police welcoming the protesters into the Capitol, including a video of an entrance that has never been shown before. The Democrats have been trying to make hay out of the protest, which they have said is worse than 9/11, the Civil War, and Pearl harbor.

Instead of the story Democrats have told about the protesters busting open doors and forcing their way into the building, both videos show Capitol police herding the people into the building and then standing back to allow them to wander in. I guess the insurrectionists were extraordinarily polite. A lawyer would probably allude to this as entrapment. The protesters didn’t break in, they were led in and then prosecuted for entering the building.

You will be able to see a Capitol Policeman waving to people already inside the building.

At the very beginning of the video, the crowd has stops before entering as if they were seeking permission to go inside. Then you can see the cops walk by and allow the protesters entrance into the capitol. In a later part of the video, you can see the cops have people bottled up to prevent their entrance until another cop comes and communicates with the officers and they move on, leaving the door unguarded, so people can walk right in.

GOP rep says illegal migrants sent ‘pallets’ of hard-to-find baby formula

Illegals getting formula while Americans have to wait.

Pallets of baby formula are being sent to holding facilities at the border amid a shortage that has seen many parents unable to find it at their local stores, according to a GOP representative.

"They are sending pallets, pallets of baby formula to the border," Rep. Kat Cammack, R-Fla., said in a video posted to Facebook Wednesday. "Meanwhile, in our own district at home, we cannot find baby formula."

Cammack posted pictures to social media of empty formula shelves in Florida next to the pallets of food being sent to the border, saying in the video that a concerned border patrol agent sent her the image.

She said the picture comes from "Ursula processing facility" in Texas, where thousands are being housed and processed and then released." The Florida lawmaker said the concerned agent told her that she "'would not believe the shipment I just brought in.’"

Kyle Rittenhouse Asked To Step Outside And Defend The Courthouse While Verdict Is Being Read

Embedded image from another site

KENOSHA, WI—Moments before reading the verdict, the twelve jurors in the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse asked if the defendant would please step outside and defend the courthouse.

“We, the jury will perform our constitutional duty and declare the verdict in this case,” said one sweating juror, “But we, the jury also don’t want to die.”

“Objection, your honor, Rittenhouse does not possess an AR-15 to defend the courthouse; I have the AR-15,” said the prosecutor, swinging the weapon wildly about as onlookers nervously ducked behind benches. “Besides, protestors are heroes, people of upstanding character, and victims.”

Judge Schroeder ruled the prosecutor a doofus and allowed Rittenhouse to disarm the blubbering liar, load his weapon, and position himself defensively on the steps of the courthouse while the verdict was read.

Witnesses claim even the prosecution team was relieved to know Kyle Rittenhouse was out there protecting them.

When Biden’s own people don’t trust him to speak, we have no real president

There is nothing more symbolic of American political power than a president of the United States holding court in the Oval Office.

Ensconced in that intimidating room, countless leaders have browbeaten, charmed, and cracked wise with the powerful and the press for generations.

But not Joe Biden.

And now we know why. According to new reporting, the reason we don’t see Joe in the Oval very often is that his team can’t install a teleprompter to keep the gaffer-in-chief on script.

So yeah, that’s where we are regarding the leader of the free world.

If one really stops and thinks about this it is simply shocking. The primary job of any politician, but especially a president, is to communicate a vision of policy and competency to the American people and the people of the world.

We have a president today who is incapable of this most basic element of his job. And whatever unelected group of White House flunkies there are — who are actually the president — can’t trust him to even open his mouth unless he can stare at a teleprompter and mouth their insights like the weatherman.

Things have gotten so obvious and awkward of late that even when Biden does have his trusty large print screen scrolling his supposed ideas he can’t even push them out. His struggle with the word “kleptocracy” in recent remarks was just sad. And fine, he grew up with a stutter, but he’s been in the public spotlight since “The Godfather” was in movie theaters.

The darkest and most troubling possibility here, but one we must face, is that we functionally have no actual President of the United States. If he can’t appear in public, in his own office, for want of a digital cheat sheet, then of course he has little if anything to do with the actual running of the country. And he’s not even a good false figurehead — using the teleprompter he often looks and sounds like he’s reading the bottom line of the eye exam.

Let’s face it. Even for an administration that thinks it’s a TV show, the construction of a White House set where Biden can wax incoherently was bizarre. But now we know this sound studio was set up to protect Biden, as much as possible, from his own words and actions. Maybe soon the president will only do live events in virtual reality where his handlers can correct his errors in deep fake real-time. Why not have the president be a programmed hologram? Is that so different from the current reality?

It’s time to talk about grandpa. He probably shouldn’t be driving or using the gas oven on his own anymore, or, you know, running the most powerful country on the planet into the ground.

Maybe the White House will overcome the great technical challenges of getting a screen with words on it into the Oval Office and we can once again see a president in his actual, natural environment. But given that this administration has given no indication in 20 months that it can even tie its shoes, I suggest we don’t hold our breath.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, the wonderful Wizard of Ahs and Ums. Just go along with the joke as the Democrats would have us do. But the joke isn’t funny anymore. A president who cannot even give brief remarks in the Oval Office is no president. And that, my friends, is that sad fact.

So what are we going to do about it?
