Hair today... gone tomorrow.
I was looking at old photos of my father taken when he was around my age. He had less hair than me. Very thin on top, but I'm the one with more grey hair. Grandmothers on both sides of the family had white hair at an early age.My uncle (on my mothers side) was going bald in his 50's and parted his hair just above his left ear. He put some 'snot -like' hair creme on and combed his hair around to the other side (like the guard rail of the highway) and when that cream dried, the whole hairdo was hard to the touch. He could drive in his convertible with the top down and not one hair moved out of place.
I remember when he came to Florida on vacation (from New York) and was playing in the pool. The side by the part was nearly 10" long and draped down over his shoulder!
One of my friends had shoulder length hair and losing it fast. If you know the comedian Gallagher, it looked the same... tied in a straggly pony tail. His girlfriend convinced him to shave it all off and he did, sending out emails with his new photo titled 'A star is born'
Hair today... gone tomorrow.
