America has just become energy independent for the fist time in 75 years. After many decades of being forced to rely on foreign oil to run our country, often from countries who were the sources of much evil in the world, President Trump kept his campaign promise and created policies as soon as he took office that reversed America's dependency on these evil nations and vastly strengthened our position in the world. We no longer have to kowtow to ANYONE.We are no longer at the mercy of foreigners to determine the price we pay for gas. All Americans have now been enjoying one of the longest periods of lowest, most stable prices at the gas pump in decades. No thanks to Democrats who are the ones responsible for fighting the policies that President Trump employed all these decades and STILL would rather see America go back to being dependent on countries like Iran than give President Trump credit for his amazing accomplishment for every American.

I remeber the oil embargo well. Seems like Auto fuel went from under fifty cents a gallon to over three times that cost overnight.
We’ll continue to see the cost for gas increase again regardless of independence because of governments taxing it more to pay for their operations, not just road maintenance and repairs.
I took the job because it came with a 10 cent an hour raise over what I was making on the previous job! I think it paid about $1.75/hr.
Sideways drilling tech made vast vast reserves cheap. This all started in the 90s.

California have highest gas tax in country. Tax now over 80 cent per gallon and going up again.
But that not only reason gas in California highest cost in country. California force company produce oil and gas to pay extra tax and force crazy regulation on them that cost fortune (for global warming HA!) .... they pass cost along to you when you fill up car with gas. Now Democrat want to pass this communist system along to entire rest of country in 2020. Becase we know everyone in America want their price of gas to double like in California... very popular idea!

$1.25 CAD = $0.95 USD
So @ $1.25 CAD per liter gasoline where you are is $3.60 USD per US gallon ($0.95 USD * 3.78541).
Gasoline cheaper in socialist Canada than in Democrat state of California!
But average price per gallon gasoline now is only $2.70!
