Why alcohol is a sin.

The Bible condemns alcohol as we read Proverbs 20:1. Alcohol is indeed Satan's blood and demons are in any glass filled with alcoholic subtenses, wether it is booze, beer, and wine. Having a moderate drinking of beer or other things is a moderate drunken deed condemned by God in the Bible. Yes, any drinker likewise adulterer (remarried divorcee), fornicator, homosexual, liar, idolater, and other unrepentant proud sinner will burn in Hell, as we warned by Paul in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.
Please fear God and be wise.

Wine is consider alcohol.

Any fruit juice becomes brewed, when it gets spoiled. Yes, spoilage created alcoholic volume. The spoiled juices are drained in the sewer, not should go into the mouths of True Christians.

The Bible forbids drunkenness.
Although the Bible never says that alcohol itself is sinful, it does say many times that drunkenness is a sin. God says, "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit." (Ephesians 5:6) In fact, there are many verses in the Bible which speak out against drunkenness. (For a few examples, see Romans 13:13; Galatians 5:19-21; 1 Peter 4:3.)

Sorry katamaran! I is a heathen and I believe drinking alcohol in moderation is something most people like to do to relax and socialise. A social drinker is not an alcoholic. I know it can ruin people's lives when people drink excessively and become alcohol dependant. But self control costs nothing does it?

If God forbade me to drink wine including communion, and other alcoholic drinks, so I obey. Surely, I wish to please Jesus, not this world. Others live by choice. They reject the Gospel, that's their choice, I don't force to convert.

Alcohol is preservative. If you drink a lot, it takes longer for body to get rotten after you die.
That's why I don't drink. Except it costs too much.
