Christmas and New Year....

In your life have you ever try to spend Christmas or New Year alone wandering around on the roads under snowing? Not sure how would be the feeling but I’m kind of want to try that in this Christmas or New Year...
What do you think? dunno

There are thousands of people in America who are homeless. They will be wandering around the streets as you describe. No food or money and no place to sleep at night.

To experience the feelings they share isn't something I recommend.
I have before now wandered around the streets when it was snowing with my dog and it wasn't so much fun.

Sunshine or moonlight on fresh snow is beautiful though. Cold cold cold but beautiful.
I have spent a few chrismas and new years on my own, but always at home not wandering around.. You are only alone if you are in need of company, most of time you are better off on your own.
Hanging out with homeless people could be an experiance, i'm sure there are many things to be learned from them
I love to be alone at those days off hypocrisy cool
I will spend christmas with family.no need.to wander around.
Thanks all...
The only thing makes me hesitate to do that is about the safety... will think more about this and may do in a safe area somewhere in this world....wave
that's only nice if its not -20 out......its nice to walk and see all the Christmas lights...santa waving
Snowy landscape looks and is very beautiful, but like many beautiful things, better to just look at rather than be involved in it, to look at a white garden is one thing, to have to go out and clear away the snow is something very different and one soon becomes numb to the beauty.
I'm smitten with my hot sizzling pool party Xmas & New Years...We have places here where the homeless are invited to festivities.
This is a short comedy film made in 1933 ...

The special effects aren't very, well ... Special by modern standards.
But the outdoor scenes & the characters' reaction to the conditions capture the "feel" of Winter in the North surprisingly well!

And then in the hilarious ending they ... But no.
I'll not spoil it. You can find out for y'all's selves.

I'm not thinking anything but I'm curious though your reason why you want to be wandering around alone?
Hi I... I never walk under snow at night ever in my life... so just wanna try to see how will be the felling:))
Seldom ever snows here and hardly ever on the run up to Christmas ...
but I do remember one night before Christmas being out walking at night on my own, not a soul was around, the stillness and silence was blissful, heavenly even and just when I thought the night air couldn't be more perfect, it began to snow .... nothing like it, looking up into the dark sky watching all those white snow flakes falling right down on you.

Hope you manage to have your walk Mimi wine

Thank you I...!!
That experience sounds like exactly what I expected to be try once in life...;))
Hope to get snow at that night when I decided to walk around....
If you drive in snow storms enough, sooner or later the car will get stuck and then you wander in the snow. Sometimes in search of a phone booth or a garage, and sometimes you just begin the long walk home and hope they don't find your frozen corpse in the morning. At least a dozen times I have had to trudge through snow. Only once on a Christmas though, but twice on a New Years. It isn't too bad if the snow is 2 feet deep or less, but when it is more than 40 inches of snow it is important to be dressed properly with good insulated boots and warm gloves under your mittens and with a hat that covers your ears.
BTW, sometimes it is a good idea to leave a note on the car telling who ever finds it which way you were headed. Just in case you don't make it and they have to find you.
