Once again Liberals believe Trump's sarcasm and go ballistic
Just like when he asked for Russias help finding Hillary's e-mails.President Donald Trump said Friday that he was being sarcastic when he raised the possibility of using disinfectant inside people's bodies to fight coronavirus.
Trump said at his daily news briefing on Thursday that scientists should explore whether inserting light or disinfectant into the bodies of people infected with the new coronavirus might help them treat the respiratory illness caused by the virus.
"I was asking a question sarcastically to reporters like you just to see what would happen," Trump told reporters Friday at an Oval Office bill signing.
Trump on Thursday raised the issues during the daily White House coronavirus briefing after a Department of Homeland Security presentation detailed finding that the coronavirus deteriorates more quickly when subjected to higher levels of heat, humidity and ultraviolet rays from the sun.
"So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it's ultraviolet or just very powerful light — and I think you said that hasn't been checked but you're going to test it," Trump said, according to The Hill. "And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside of the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. And I think you said you’re going to test that too. Sounds interesting."
Trump also asked if there was a way to use disinfectants on the body "by injection inside or almost a cleaning."

That’s evil. These few people think it’s okay to inflict all this suffering because it gives them a sense of power and creates a primal struggle environment in which they feel more comfortable. Easier, I guess to decide to just drop a dude with that AR15 they’ve been itching to use when the dude comes looking to raid the prepper’s larder to feed his family because preppers took the whole society apart to make themselves feel less marginalized. Well, knowing this, I’d have very little qualms about taking what the hellever I’ll need from preppers. They prepped for what they intended to create. They’re despicable. You MAGAs err if you think our love of peace makes us weak and means we are not armed. We’re armed and capable, and there are many, many more of us than there are MAGAs.

No Jim I suppose the people who support Trump and support most what Trumps says and does.Are usually make excuses for him and dismiss thins that he does.
However, there was one Trump supporter on here earlier today, who DID admit, that what the "so-called" president said regarding disinfectant was "stupid". I retorted, that his admittance put him much higher than those who cannot admit the truth. It's a shame more can't be honest.
Not only irresponsible, but so much so it makes his already weak credibility dive into oblivion.
As many have said, there are many who will not fully understand his remarks, those are the kind of people who may well try his "suggestions" with the result of being hospitalised and then possibly death.

He was not being sarcastic, and even if he was a First World Leader speaking during a world pandemic has no right to be sarcastic, he should be delivering facts and trying to lift the nation's spirits, instead, he is fueling gossip.
If just one person dies from consuming a disinfectant, Trump will be sued to oblivion, possibly imprisoned as accessory to murder.

The Poison Control Center, a subagency of the city’s Health Department, managed a total of 30 cases of possible exposure to disinfectants between 9 p.m. Thursday and 3 p.m. Friday, a spokesman said.
None of the people who reached out died or required hospitalization, the spokesman said.
But compared to last year, the number of cases was worthy of a double-take.
On Fox News Friday, reporter John Roberts defended President Donald Trump’s suggestion that using UV lights inside the body could be used to treat coronavirus.
“You know, the concept of some sort of way of getting ultraviolet light inside the body … the president was correct,” said Roberts. “In fact, earlier this week, a company out of Colorado announced that it is studying a new device that would embed LED lights that emit UV rays into the breathing tubes of ventilators, and that way you could actually attack the virus inside the trachea.”

But the White House on Friday accused the media of taking Trump’s comments “out of context.”
“President Trump has repeatedly said that Americans should consult with medical doctors regarding coronavirus treatment, a point that he emphasized again during yesterday’s briefing,” White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said in a statement. “Leave it to the media to irresponsibly take President Trump out of context and run with negative headlines.”
During Thursday’s White House coronavirus task force briefing, Trump discussed the use of light and disinfectants in trying to break down SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19.
For the record, here’s exactly what Trump said the two times he mentioned “disinfectant” during the briefing.
At the briefing, Bill Bryan, head of the science and technology directorate at the Department of Homeland Security, discussed the findings of the federal government’s study on sunlight, humidity and temperature effect on the coronavirus, as well as disinfectants.
“We’re also testing disinfectants readily available. We’ve tested bleach, we’ve tested isopropyl alcohol on the virus, specifically in saliva or in respiratory fluids. And I can tell you that bleach will kill the virus in five minutes; isopropyl alcohol will kill the virus in 30 seconds, and that’s with no manipulation, no rubbing — just spraying it on and letting it go. You rub it and it goes away even faster. We’re also looking at other disinfectants, specifically looking at the COVID-19 virus in saliva,” Bryan said.
Trump then talked about discussions he’s had with Bryan, looking at him as he did so.
“So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light — and I think you said that that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going to test it. And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way, and I think you said you’re going to test that too. It sounds interesting.”
Then Trump said this: “And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or, or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets on the lungs and it does a tremendous number, so it will be interesting to check that. So that you’re going to have to use medical doctors. But it sounds, it sounds interesting to me. So we’ll see. But the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute, that’s, that’s pretty powerful.”
“Is there a way”? Trump was clearly musing about what might be worthy of examining: “it will be interesting to check that.”
Then Bryan discussed disinfectant again. “We’re continuing with that. For example, on the aerosol side, you notice the figures were 20 percent humidity. We’re looking at higher humidity levels. We would expect that would even have a greater impact on the virus. We’re looking at other types of disinfectants. And — and so we’re — this is a — as a scientific community, we’re continuing to study the virus to understand its characteristics.”
