DEZINFORMATSIA: What it means, Where it came from, and "Useful Idiots"

Lately, as Leftists have taken control over the US, her intelligence agencies, a vast swath of the Media, the Social Media Giants, Academia and other public institutions, * we are now hearing the word "Disinformation" cast about. Coming from the Left, for them to accuse others of disinformation, is very much like someone who is insane calling someone who is sane, "crazy."

The central tenets of the Left are to LIE; admit nothing, deny everything, demand proof; counter-accuse; and (as Mic has pointed out), insult. Truth is the enemy to the Left and for them, to breath is to Lie.

For those who were involved in the Cold War, they will remember the must-have books for understanding what the Soviets, and for that matter, the Chinese Communists were all about. (for some reason, the Chi-Coms never captured the attention of the Intelligence Agencies and policy makers like the Soviets. Of course, the ground has shifted dramatically since the 1980's and a big part of that is the Clintons giving them national security information and weapons technology, along with over three decades of tolerating a vastly disproportionate trade balance with China. China has become the Number One existential threat to the world).

One must-have book was..

Soviet and Russian Dezinformatsia: Reading Selection -- PDF

Read these, and you will understand what true DEZINFORMATSIA is, where it came from and who deployed it. The disturbing thing is that the domestic Left has turned it against regular Americans. In short, we are living under an enemy regime.

USEFUL IDIOTS

Where would Communists be without their Useful Idiots, the impenetrably stupid with a capacity for betraying their countries? Former KGB Agent, Lev Bezmanov, describes them as having "contaminated" minds, incapable of processing truth.

Most of the people who graduated in the sixties (drop-outs or half-baked intellectuals) are now occupying the positions of power in the government, civil service, business, mass media, [and the] educational system. You are stuck with them. You cannot get rid of them. They are contaminated; they are programmed to think and react to certain stimuli in a certain pattern. You cannot change their mind, even if you expose them to authentic information, even if you prove that white is white and black is black, you still cannot change the basic perception and the logic of behavior. In other words, these people... the process of demoralization is complete and irreversible.

Perhaps Ann Coulter described them best:

Whether they are defending the Soviet Union or bleating for Saddam Hussein, liberals are always against America. They are either traitors or idiots, and on the matter of America's self-preservation, the difference is irrelevant."

@bohe unsurprisingly the Kissinger quote is totally rebutted! trust you to raise such putrid rubbish.
And by the way-- denials by your Leftist Lie Factories, at best, count for nothing.

After all, they give Hillary Clinton the highest rating for truthfulness.
you won't last long, loud-mouth
Between the 2 of us is 124 years of hard road & naval engagement...You must be an Officer ( I've not asked ) as your treatment of the duped & lightweights is almost always proper -- even Cordial.

Thank you General,

I appreciate the recognition. I suppose the key to Senior Drill Instructor Gunnery Sergeant Hartmann, is the ever present threat of enforcement via pain compliance. Officers are taught not to use that directly, not just on the possibility that you lose the fight and therefore standing before your unit, but that's what your NCOs are for.

Thus, you have to bring leadership skills to bear on target.

To be a good officer or a good NCO is tough, each in their own way, but they are different.
