they were dangerous people , well the dead anyway
Ted Nugent respects nature and the firearm. much respect
Kristalnacht. Indeed there they are, the brownshirts rampaging...and there you are, in their midst.
Snow,you are even more ignorant than I thought you were!rolling on the floor laughing
@ep.
They were indeed dangerous but that kid shouldn't have been there.
@crypto.
I would indeed and have been both threatened and assaulted (as has almost everybody) but it's the cops' job to deal with rioters.
@conrad.
At least I can count.
SL, the cops were asked to stand down. give me a break. bullies get their just deserts on occasion, then they get martyr status by the media. ever hear the phrase "don't tread on me"?
SL, imagine you are protesting safe cities. would you step down because you could be killed? this kid was braver than any coward with a rap sheet
@ snow I would indeed and have been both threatened and assaulted (as has almost everybody) but it's the cops' job to deal with rioters.

Think about this … government officials told law enforcement personnel to stand down and forget protecting property…. So…. cops weren’t dealing with the blm and antifa people.
Not only did cops stand down, the Governor turned down help from Trump.
@ snow … “ ep.
They were indeed dangerous but that kid shouldn't have been there.”

Well… think about this….

So, you are saying only the blm and antifa rioters had a right to be there and destroying other people’s property but a good guy had no right being there to protect things?
@Gal.

Yes indeed that was shameful. The whole sorry mess was badly handled.
you got it Chancer , if a few doing their jobs there would be no famous Rittenhouse , every night is Kristallnacht to antifa .
@Gal
No they did not have the right to be there and they should have been dealt with, by the proper authorities.
@crypto.
The reality is you can't tolerate any opinion that differs from your own, isn't that it?
tbh, it's like, it's ok to destroy without consequences. not really in real life. not everyone will buy into the bogus news. actions will follow... we're not all the sheep you claim to own. play with fire, get burned
The charges were incorrect, they appear to have been designed to fail, nobody is that stupid.
The jury had no other choice than to acquit on all except maybe 2 and 3.
If they wanted a conviction they should have charged him with unintentional manslaughter or something similar.
They were going for 60 year instead of 10 year charges.
It's obvious that there was no premeditation to commit murder.
It is also obvious that at that moment he was in danger, maybe not for his life but certainly serious injury.
He was also running away, not chasing anybody.
It can be argued that his response was over the top by firing too many rounds.
He should have had the rifle set on single shot, possibly a 3 shot selection, but it appears that it was set on fully automatic, maybe not. This would be the only grey area and charges should hinge on facts like this.
He is definitely guilty of being stupid and has to live with the memory of killing people for the rest of his life.
^^^
The AR-15 is a semi-automatic Weapon!

To fire a shot you need to pull the trigger!
You can't fire it in fully automatic mode,since it isn't designed to do that!
It doesn't have that feature!

Thanks for that info., well that grey area is successfully removed then.
The people that are the most upset about the verdict, are the same ones that never watched a second of the trial.laugh
the people who are upset are those who would accept a gun's muzzle in their faces
I don't know, but it would explain blowing an arm off, (if that did actually happen).
Bystanders at a antifa riot , must take note typing

I was referring to the Rioters NOT Actively Attacking Kyle.

There was, of course, No danger of injuring a Law Enforcement Officer, as they'd been ordered to Stand Down.

He May, however, have gotten an MSM Correspondent reporting on the Mostly Peaceful Protest during which Kyle's life was imperiled.

This may be More Pertinent Now than any time since it was Written ...

Good post Seaworthy, thanks for the info. I also knew nothing about that, now I do.
I knew though, by instinct, that Kyle was somehow in his right to do what he did.
Unfortunatly lives were lost but attacking Kyle in that situ is a bit like poking a lion
with a stick. It's an AR15 mate.
Totally foolish and disrespectful!
Which is the name of the game for this rioters anyway.
See @ 2:00 ...

"The people that are the most upset about the verdict, are the same ones that never watched a second of the trial"

Your assumption is incorrect. I watched the trial from day one right up and after the verdict.

As well I recorded the Ahmad Aubrey trial that will have closing statements on Monday and I have watched every minute of that trial.tongue

Apparently it went all over your head!

As soon as I was allowed I bought my first Bruno, if that 18, 17, 16 I don't remember. I've had a few rifles since then, sold the last one only 10 years ago. All were bolt action, by choice. Never be afraid of guns, just follow the rules.
