Actually using a Bull Roarer with customized dimensions you can send a signal through the Earth's Atmospheres. 100% you can also send a signal to another country by standing at a beach and pointing towards ur desired destination but that also requires being in the correct spot mathematically ofc. The longer the rope the wider area u cover. But that requires alot of strength.
