Why do so many people not understand that the usa is a constitutional federal republic?
“Constitutional” refers to the fact that government in the United States is based on a Constitution which is the supreme law of the United States.Merry Christmas everyone! Go Bless you!

The CS and News Media, political analysts and supreme court of the US still have to prove if Jan 6 was an outright plot of an insurrection or a choice made by idiots on a protest and or exercising their right of assembly. Because of a few idiots which more seems that those who really support the Biden administration were behind the so called insurrection to make it appear this was MAGA doing it. Just because MAGA idiots were there does not discount that possibly Democrats were equally protesting.
Granted this response will be met with much criticism bc the majority of this site are socialist being its supposed to be a "Social Site" however, there is much contradiction to that idea bc most here are very antisocial or there would be more folks expressing more stories of couples engagements and or marriages. Rather what we read here the most is political bullshit or useless ideas that will not add to human social development.
Nobody can fight or change city hall. If any and all CS political analysts can come up with a better way to run things in America then start a real campaign to get voted into congress and make proposals to change how you want America to be. This idea applies to any and all those who live outside the U.S.

The 14th Amendment was meant to be a protection against State violence starting with the civil rights and privileges of all citizens in all parts of the Republic.
