This blog is about someone stalking me and making false comments in suspicion that I reported another member and had his profile closed.




As far as the amount of political blogs... a year ago there were lots of members contributing from both sides with more activity/comments for each. I've decreased my blog output. With the exception of sdarlagg posting a few political blogs each day, there has been a drop in overall blog activity political or not.

Amazing to note, my stalker blogged that 2 days went by where no one blogged.
Sounds like a no-win situation. Complain if you don't blog, complain if you do.

Hints from you, they weren't... it was getting personal you said you would no longer comment on any of my blogs. There may have been personal issues that made you get frustrated with me. Sorry... hopefully, it's over now.
I don't recall arguing with other members on my blogs. They are entitled to voice their opinions. Many bear no true facts. Look around... from arguments are the ones who go to jail or get ejected. I don't consider stating facts or posting videos of newscasts, interviews or public statements made by political figures to be stirring the pot.

Membership on dating sites always has an ebb and flow. Overall activity is down right now with less new members. Someone said less activity was because CS introduced a method of upgrade. It's still a free site and while the upgrade message is on the opening page, I believe it doesn't detract from new membership.

I noticed new membership and activity on another has dropped to an all-time low. A year ago, there were several hundred online, especially nights and weekends, now it's less than 50.
Seasonal? It could be.

When I started shopping for a house 6 years ago in the Boca, Delray, Boynton areas, I couldn't afford a house in this area. The cheapest I found was around $375,000.
Townhouses were in the neighborhood of $250,000.

My only choice was to shop retirement condo communities and there are several here in-between some really pricey neighborhoods. At the time, the average condo was $65,000.
I waited a year and was lucky to get one the week it was listed at $72,000.

The vice-president of my association moved here 20 years ago and told me he paid over $116,000 then. I don't have all the facts, but there was a crash and prices dropped dramatically. He was one of the ones who were forced to stay or lose out financially. Some of the neighbors remember values under $20,000.
My neighbor who was in his late 80's told me his brother owned my unit and only came for holidays. I believe after the crash, many people bought several units and rented them out. I did a kitchen renovation for one guy who owned 4 of them.

All of Florida has been impacted by COVID. I've been checking condo prices recently and units in this development are in excess of $170,000. as is. The ones who renovated are asking much more.
My place is more than double... If I sell, where am I going to go?

This place has survived many hurricanes and I've got the original windows... most of the residents do. We are grandfathered in. So far, they haven't forced us to upgrade. The plastic strips holding the glass has dried and cracked. Some residents have shutters or impact windows, often that are seasonal and have no means to board up. I'm not planning to spend $20,000 for window upgrades.
The association had a great idea to replace a plastic strips on the first floor only... BS, I'm on the 2nd floor. It is what it is.

A friend of mine less than 2 miles away lives in a Misner community and in 6 years the value of his place has tripled. We talked about it at 1.75 million now. His HOA is in the $400/month range. Mine is now $694/month.

If I really retire, it would consider a few hours north in a small house without an association.

We just discussed dates and the condo was bought in December 2018.

Renovation started right away and stopped when I ran out of funds, which was early 2019. We commuted day, night and weekends doing much of the work ourselves.
We switched gears to fix up the Miami house and it was sold in the first quarter of 2019 so we had no option but to move in. My Miami neighbor was kind enough to allow me to store a dozen plastic bins of 'stuff' until we made room in the patio.

Contrary to your suspicion, we are together lots of hours, sleep in the same bed, share the same space doing different hobbies. Nearly all my meals are prepared by her, with the exception of pizza, I'm eating healthy and my latest blood work shows that.
She wishes I would retire, loves that I'm getting back to music and supports my model aircraft hobby. We travel together, eat together, have life together. Nearly every decision is made together.

I sent ONE compliment... ONE to a fellow blogger who was in need of updating her photos and bleu struck an uncalled for first blow. Actually not the first, but the latest of many.

I enjoy writing. It keeps my mind focused. The fact that I can document things from trivial to significant in blogs is my thing. Listening to someones perspective different than mine.
Music for example... I haven't heard 80% maybe 90% of the videos posted on CS.

I talk to her about all the goings-on here including the personalities.
We talk politics, but her understanding of American government is limited. She gets her news in Chinese and often hears things before I do.

One day, I'll decide to wean off of CS. One day.
Life is good. So far, this year, I sold more than I did all of last year and a friend asked if I'm available to take on some projects for his company. Possible.
My cousin really wants to get the trio going. It won't be financially rewarding, at least not in the beginning. Rehearsals and learning songs does take some time.
