Seas change into mulberry fields and mulberry fields change into seas--time brings great changes to the world and us.

Once I played online tarot cards, the question was: Has that one who loves you the most appeared? It predicted four possible results:

1) You have already lost that one who loves you the most.
2) You have nearly lost that one who loves you the most.
3) You haven’t lost that one who loves you the most, but only you know whether you love her / him or not.
4) That one who loves you the most hasn’t appeared.

I don’t know much about tarot cards, so I don’t know whether it can predict correctly or not. But it is quite fun to play it when feeling bored or feeling lost. I linked it to two friends. Daisy played it and her result was number 4. I asked her whether it predicted correctly. Daisy said yes, she hasn’t met somebody who loves her sincerely.

And Dk Yang played it. His result was number 3. I didn’t feel surprised, because as far as I know, there have been at least 5 girls who love him crazily, before, or maybe now. But just as what it predicts, only he knows how he feels toward them.

I asked him whether it predicted correctly. He said he didn’t know. There are some scars on his hearts, though in others’ eyes, he looks like a playboy.

He asked me my result and whether it was correct. Well my result was also number 3, but I didn’t think it was correct. If it was correct, then where was he?! I giggled and tried to make things not so sad or not so serious.

“We are the same.” At last, he said.

Yes, we are the same. Once, I have loved him for so many years, but now, I do not love him any longer. And I know, in some of those years, or some of those days, he loved me too. But why couldn’t we be together?!

Now I don’t love him, he doesn’t love me. Most of the time, I feel that he is more like my brother, rather than a lover. But it is quite ridiculous that after so many things, I told him I haven’t lost the one who loves me the most and he told me he hasn’t lost that one either. If we had played this online tarot cards one or two years ago, then we might have felt that that one predicted in the tarot cards was exactly each other. But now, yea, I am still myself, he is still himself, but both of us change a lot. Just like that saying, “Seas change into mulberry fields and mulberry fields change into seas”--time brings great changes to the world and us.

Many love songs center on how much we love another, and will until the end of time. But you have made a good point..."The only thing certain is change." - Socrates

There is only one definite constant in life - the unending cycle of change. Yes, time brings a lot of change to the world and to the people around us. Things that seem so terribly important and vibrant to us now in time change to just a memory. Words like always, never, and other absolutes tagged to our feelings are usually more fancy than fact; i.e., I will always love you (in the case of a romantic partner). rose

One thing I can be certain of is someone will ask me for change when I leave the supermarket. But that is another topic... :)
Thank you calmheartseeks.

You help me to conclude the point: The only thing certain is change.

When I wrote this blog, I didn’t know that I was making this point. I was just writing what I saw and how I felt. And you conclude it exactly and explain it or extend it, , which I appreciate and thank you again. I can only write the basic and simple things in daily life, and you can always refine them and make the gist profound.
