Eastern vs. Western Medicine
I just left an acupuncture session, and I feel great! Which really got me to thinking...where has western medicine gone wrong? Why is it that I usually always feel worse once I leave a doctors office, in which they practice western medicine? Is it because it took me three weeks to get that appointment, or because the doctor was 1.5 hours late, or because I felt like I was just one of many being shuffled through the system? Or, could it be that the doctor never really took a true interest in my ailment, that he/she just wanted to pump me full of drugs, and/or send me on a wild goose chase to pharmacy after pharmacy, waiting in more lines?I have been having acupuncture done for years. For a long time, my insurance wouldnt even cover it, because its not 'recognized' by many insurance agencies as a valid treatment plan. But, I assure you it is. Moreso even than 99% of the crap they do insure. My mother was told by western doctors that she should have two knee replacements, and that she should walk with a cane. Hell no, she said! She consistently goes to acupuncture, and she is fine. No cane, no pain. Did you know that open heart surgeries have been performed using only acupuncture needles, and no pain medicine or anisthetics? There are specific points in the body interconnected with others, so this doesnt seem so far fetched to me.
Same thing with many fertility clinics. What a waste of time and money. Go get some acupuncture. Doesnt it make sense to cure the energy flowing in our bodies, rather than putting more chemicals in?
Well, to each their own, but I would say to those that feel they have hit a dead end with a treatment in western medicine, to please find a reputable acupuncturist and just at least give it a try. I was in and out within 40 minutes, and I feel great.....

I think cleaning the energy in our minds and bodies, and spirits, is a great way to get rid of any toxins. But, you already advised, you think you just want to jump off the hamster wheel, and find a way to lose a few pints of blood.
When you drive your truck, I can guarantee you use the energy you pick up to "read" what others are going to do on the road. Your intuition is the reader of the energies. Energy frequencies tells you, okay there is a car that feels like it's going to make a lane change right when I plan to...intuition then says, "wait and see what they do". You either follow that little voice of reason or you don't.

Yes, Miss V I agree. Mike is very in tune with energies just doesnt know how to quantify them in his own brain.
Yes yes, I remember the blind woman that could walk into the room and 'feel' the mood too. I don't know 111. All I know is what is in front of me, here and now. And that is what I have to deal with.
I'd like to believe in what your saying, but it has to come from with me. We both know that. Countless experiments have been preformed trying to prove this "energy", you speak of, yet no one can positively find it.

I think a wild animal's thoughts are very simple. If you observe them in nature, not much seems to bother them, but then again, I can't read their minds either.
Heres something I found interesting....scientific experiements conducted using plants, and peoples intentions only. The results are interesting.

Think about it like this...if you had no energy coming from you, how would you operate? How would the world operate? Wouldnt we then be reduced to robots? Isnt our free will and the energy that drives our free will what makes us human?

Alternative medicine most probably works only cause of psychomatic effects ... there ain't no proof that acupuncture and such are beneficial ... they are somewhat random acc to me ..

This whole notion that we are slightly more advanced than animals is not a really wholistic picture. We have the ability to reason, and animals do not.
10k....many things have been proven and documented surrounding acupuncture. Its been around for 3,000 years. Before most other medicines.
people believed that the earth is flat for like 5000 years ... is it?

anyway, thats a little different, because nothing was studied at that time or shown to prove that claim. Many things are written and studied about acupuncture.

energy is by definition the potential to do work, now the only energy that we have in our bodies is chemical (aka stored) energy and its non-transmissable through a blog ...
if u had to through a human body in a fire, it would sustain it by relasing the energy I am talkin about ... just like a piece of wood, petrol etc do. Besides that sort of energy, there is no evidence of any other ...
hahaa...yes, I was just using 'energy' in the sense that his soul and everyones soul for that matter, interacts with other energies.
its not like a physical theory where it is explained and proven beyond any doubt ..
