happy new year
what did everyone get up to over new years eve ?myself, i decided to stay in with my kids and celebrate with them like i did the year previously although for some reason this year was fun, i dont know whether last year it was because i was with my babies dad and we were going through yet another difficult patch where we had argued so the christmas spirit had gone but this year we were at home with plenty of food and drink and we sat and watched xmas films and played on the pool table till about half eleven then we turned over for the big count down and to watch the new years celebrations, after that my neighbour had set of some chinese lanterns so we were outside watching them do their thing when two of my mates showed up and we continued to drink and eat till about 4 in the morning but boy did i pay for it the next day
now all the celbrations are over and we are back to reality, the days seem sooo quiet now as no talk of xmas or nye, no one outside rushing around, just back to normal
although this year for me i have promised, its going to be different, for a start i need to loose the few pounds i have gained over christmas, i want to bring my family closer together again as we almst lost our way for second back there, going to keep my family and friends close to me, get my home freshened up with new carpets and a lick of paint and hopefully find a guy i can call my own
happy new year to you all
