PERSONAL TESTIMONY OF MY FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST

Romans 81 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.



Well this will be my personal testimony. Around the time of my 5th grade year, I received Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. Funny thing how it happened.....
At that age I was pretty scared about heaven and hell and having doubts about my salvation was running through my head. So I never forget praying that prayer one night that changed my life forever. I prayed God, I am not sure I am going to heaven please God help me to understand how to get to heaven.


Around 2 weeks went by and a local preacher came to visit. He said, anyone here after presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ want to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. I said yes and the preacher lead me to the Lord and in that time of saying the sinners prayer, I went into the Lord's presence and that day knew without doubt
Jesus was real. Time went on and just being a soft spoken child and just enjoying the simple things of child hood, I never grasped the how to live my salvation. Honestly really didn't start attending Church until I was about 15 or 16....


I attended Florence Ave Baptist Church and got Baptized and active in the youth group. But sad thing is I never grasped the how to live an active faith in Christ through the Holy Spirit. Around 2003 I was fed up with living a lie assuming I was going to heaven full of doubt and fear towards the way I carried myself. So I started reading the Bible for myself and studying the Bible and praying before praying saying.................... Lord Jesus help me to understand what I am reading
through your Presence.




Now I have an active prayer life and now I am 100% sure I am going to heaven and I am 100% sure I am clean in His site. Learning through others works...........................
But the best thing I advise is this.............. Study the Bible yourself and pray for ministering of the Holy Spirit while studying. I write these devotions to see your faces in heaven and having my conscience clear in presenting the Gospel. I do not write these blogs or devotionals for personal ego or personal righteousness. The choice is ours and no one else's, mankind has the freewill to accept Salvation through Christ or reject. That's the way God set it up and that is the way we are to present it.
