Just one infection . . . .
Who would have thought that an infection could be that bad. I had no idea that what appeared to be a common cold, could have such long term effects. They told us today, that we could expect it to take up to THREE YEARS for him to recover completely.
He probably is not even aware that he has respiratory problems, but we feel it for him. For us to watch such a bundle of energy and enthusiasm, running around, tripping us up, diving into our legs to give a hug and then hear the air rasping in his lungs, to feel the vibration as it passes through his chest . .. I think it rips each of us apart.
Today I was made aware of what a close call we really had. How close we came to losing him a few short months ago.
GOD is GOOD.

I believe that he will
sorry to hear that
I wish your small baby to recover soon and get strong and healthy.
I assume he was put on antibiotics ?
Get well soon little guy.
Nice to see you again
Thanks

Thank goodness the danger is now over
You are right God is merciful
From now on, change his diaper at least once a week
Do I HAVE to . . . .
You obviously haven't been around babies and diapers much have you
I just read your blog and I have such empathy for you. I know that you must feel really helpless and your heart breaks when you see your grandson having breathing problems. Some say that it is just wishful thinking and it is a waste of time, but I believe in God so I will say a prayer for you, grandson, and family.
I am glad that his problem was caught early enough that you did not loose him. I can only pray that he heals sooner than the years anticipated.
I certainly don't believe prayer is a waste of time. Its about all we can do at this stage.
Your prayeers would be a blessing, thanks
Great it`s going better now!
That's sweet of you
Thank God . . . I believe that
Tell him to be brave. Everything is gonna be okay.
