Going on another first date.....

Only the 2nd person I'm actually going to be able to meet from this site. Very excited and very nervous at the same time. First person I met wanted to marry after 2 dates, so ya, no I'm good with that.

So we shall see what friday brings - can't wait! We seem to have a lot in common so that is a good start.

I hope and trust that your experience will be better than mine were.

So far I've dated twice on another site. Both conducted themselves well on the phone.

The 1st was a political/enviromental fanatic. He never brought this up on the phone. He utterly bored me for 3 hours straight. I couldn't wait for the date to end.

The 2nd guy had a photo on his profile that was between 10-15 years old. I was shocked when I saw this old guy for the 1st time.

But that was me...maybe it will all go well for you....good luck.

Angel...our backgrounds and upbringing are very similar so something good just may come of it. And well, he's only 30

....yes, almost 10 years my junior, but that is not unusual as I normally date younger.....and I've seen his photo on here and photos he's sent me and they do look like a 30 year old man so they can't be all that old. Keeping my fingers crossed though and either way, in the end, I still have a friend if it doesn't happen...because I really do enjoy talking to him.

Ned....everyone has their own personal reasons for that. I mean...I am here...but in my case, I'm unable to get out much between full time work and raising my 3 kids and granddaughter....so I really can't leave just for the sake of meeting people. It's one thing when I make plans with a specific person on a certain day to do something....but unfortunately, everything I do has to be planned into schedule with when I can actually go out or if I can find a sitter (which doesn't happen often)....my means of communication with people is limited to online access, unless something gets planned to meet in person, in other words lol. So far this year I've actually gone out for enjoyment purposes 3 times....that's 3 times in four months. The man I am going on a date with on friday works two jobs and is busy as well....we have to plan things with both our schedules for a date lol. ...but eh, what r ya gonna do
