Does Human Life have NO VALUE ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

I arrived at hospital at 10.40pm last evening with our toddler in convulsions and extreme fever. Normally one experiences anxiety and that nobody else there is as sick as YOUR loved one (well I do)when we face such emergency situations.


But last night, I had to stop and pray for the little one who was drawing the doctors to his side.

Someone please explain to me,

At which point do you justify a baby,(under 1 year old) being SHOTcrying crying crying

Where is the regard for human life????

When are people going to realize that GUNS ARE WEAPONS and in the wrong hands, they are LETHAL WEAPONS.crying crying crying

How many children have to die before someone does something about it????

Funbucket . . I'm not sure what is worse than innocent children being hurt in any way...
It just blows my mind that people can still stand around and justify messing around with guns, seriously or in jest when there are little ones around.very mad

I certainly don't disagree with him.

At that time they were rushing him to the childrens hospital to the ICU there because his heart was very weak.sad flower

Dear Cofy, So sorry to hear that little baby is the recipiant of more human stupitity . Evry time I hear of another semingly mindless mishap I'm reminded of Mark Twain . He said " I think God made the monkey because he was disapointed in man !" . . . laugh laugh laugh . . . . .. OK, it isn't that funny in light of the little one !

Hello, im assuming most children under one cant walk therefore they can only crawl so a gun would have to be left loaded by an adult within reach of that child. very mad very mad unbelievable.

In this case,it's pure and total case of no consciousness. People are deprived in their own ways, caught up in their webs of illusion and lost it all. But many times, those innocent ones are affected by these lunatics.... Sorry to hear about the baby. I hope and pray that he will be safe and sound and his parents will find some strength to go through this moment...

Natural illness, drives me crazy, unnecessary injuries make me livid. Accidents happen, but this is one which could have been avoided.

wafwotam, Unfortunately at hospital they were concentrating on the baby and it seemed wrong to ask the mom questions about it when she doesn't know me. The information I have is from what I saw and from the doctors conversations. (eaves dropping, I'm afraid.)

So I have no details about the incident.

Thanks for enquiring about our little one, he is not stable yet, but we are working on him. hug

The world sure can be a very confusing place. There are many times I shake my head and wonder what on earth people were thinking...or if they think at all.

Unless people need a gun for their employment or on farms, I don't understand why anyone would own one. AND, if in a gun club or 'sporting club'...why they are not locked away as they should be.

KIDs AND GUNS DO NOT MIX.....mo matter the time or place.
