“PEOPLE WHO MATTER ARE MORE AWARE THAT EVEYONE ELSE DOES TOO”

I don’t know if I am the only one to have experienced this, but people who have thought themselves important can be very rude. I’m sure that we have all met someone or some people who think that they are God’s gift to earth. Yes, I know you know someone like that, those that have the sun shining out of their you-know-what. Those are the people who get my goat.

Then on the other end of the spectrum you find those really important, famous, world renowned people who are so humble and down to earth, that you just can’t believe it. People upon whom greatness has been thrust and not those who had picked up greatness and made it their cloak of pride, are the ones. Those are the people who treat you with respect and don’t think of others as lowly creatures. The people who made a real difference and accepts, very humbly, any honour bestowed upon them. I’m equally sure that you have bumped into one of these people.

What if find so difficult to understand it that the ones who have attached importance and stature to themselves, come up short sometime or another. All this happens because the façade cannot be kept up. These are the snobs who think that they are better, but looking into their character there is hardly any good traits there.

We all know the kid who comes to visit during the school holidays and don’t seem to eat a thing that is prepared. The one who comes from nothing but when in the company of others, doesn’t eat inexpensive food, only the expensive and exotic is good enough for them. They are the same ones whom we later see attaching importance to themselves.

So this blog goes out to all these people who do not think that they are the best thing since sliced bread. Those who do not suffer from a superiority complex. To those people who honour and respect others as much as they do themselves. To those who are on time for appointments, who keep their promises and who displays common courtesy. You might not appear on billboards or movie credits, but to someone you matter. That someone is me!!!!

You matter because everyone else matters to you. What you say and do, makes people feel special and not insignificant. Don’t forget that to me you and your opinion matters even if we don’t agree.

And to everyone who knows it all. Well I hope you are not proven wrong in the presence of an audience, because if I form part of that audience I will definitely be laughing in your face.
