McCain is not the right choice.
I have tried to stay out of the political blog arena up to now.However, after much research over a long time, I feel the need to talk out now.
A vote for McCain is a vote for at least 4 more years of an unjust war which will further bankrupt this nation and kill many more people.
The Iraq war is an unjust war. There were no "weapons of mass destruction". Bush KNEW there weren't any, because the USA was the one SUPPLYING Iraq with arms for years against Iran. Bush lied about his reason for invasion and thus, he should be tried as a war criminal.
The Iraq war was for one reason - so, Bush's family and other oil buddies could reap RECORD profits, while we payed at the pump. Sure, the prices are down NOW, because the president wants you to feel good about the situation. He wants you to vote for McCain. Thus, the reserves have been manipulated to appear that we have a surplus. Mark my words, the pump prices will rise significantly and continue to go up right after the election.
Plus, Haliburton (Cheney) and arms manufacturers profited too. Meanwhile $ Trillions were borrowed from other nations and thrown away at the war. G.W. Bush has near bankrupted this great country for profit based on lies.
Over 2/3 of the country's budget is spent on the military and to pay off the interest on the loans used for the military. If McCain is elected, he will pardon Bush and continue this travesty. We need to end the war, cut the military spending and pay off our loans (over time) rather than increase them. Like it or not, agree with it or not, McCain is not the prudent choice on election day.
I would never tell you who to vote for and there are several choices out there. If you have to, write-in your favorite candidate. However, I am pleading with you not to vote for McCain. Unfortunately, due to the last 8 years our country is in no position to afford it.

Remember what Reagen did in the 1980s, he over spend in the millitary, and George Bush did the same. We had a recession.

My plea was not to vote for McCain, as he will drive this country further in debt keeping the troops in Iraq. Unfortunately, because of the deep debt we are in, that HAS to be the main issue. Otherwise, unfortunately, we will soon be auctioning off states to foreign investors to pay the mounting debt off.
Also, Obama isn't for socialism. He just wants to increase the income tax ONLY on those earning more than $250,000 net by 3% to help pay off the huge debt this country is in because of EXCESSIVE military spending. That's FAR from socialism. Don't worry, 5% of the population will still have 95% of the money. And that 5% doesn't include any of us.
