Cant stand my boss..

Monday last week i asked about Christmas holidays and all i got back was "I'll let you know"
So i decided i would keep asking and every day i got the same answer "I'll let you know"

Yesterday the boss finally had enough, and let rip with "I TOLD YOU I'LL LET YOU KNOW!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU??? IF I WANT YOU TO WORK THEN YOU WORK!!! WHERE I WANT AND WHEN I WANT! I DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR TIME OFF, OR STUPID HOLIDAYS OR EVEN THE WEEKENDS SO IF YOU DONT LIKE IT THEN YOU CAN LEAVE!!!"

I replied "but i cant leave.." and he said "I KNOW AND JUST YOU KEEP THAT IN MIND!!!!"

Boy, i tell ya, sometimes i really hate being self employed.....

Good one rabbit , once i cut myself very badly on xmas eve getting ready for the lunch xmas day we had 120 bookings for my restaurant . I had to go to hospital 50 kms away , get stitched up , arm in sling, doctor said ill give you a note for your boss so you can have the week off ........ yeh right thanks.
Was the worst xmas i ever experienced , I just had to do it, I was the head chef.

Just think that you are still blessed because you had a great and decent job. So many are unemployed around the world.
Survival is the name of the game. We are all in Economic Crisis.
Don't be so hard with your Boss coz he/she is just doing his job also. Surely he/she had a good reasoned why he/she say those words with you not being so Bossy. Just look at the good side on him/her. Be patient and broaden your mind. Love your work as you love yourself too.
Be calm now. There is always time for everything in this world.

Even if not self employed, yr boss then has a boss and he has a boss and so on and all of the can go where ever they belong too
I prefer to think of myself as Captain of my organization & yes! I drive my staff hard! cheers yay peace
When I was the boss I always gave a full explanation. Your boss could have said, "I don't have the schedule that far in advance so I can't give you an answer. I will not know for sure until about a week or so before Christmas".

I went to work in a candy factory and I asked the lead man when our days off were. He said, "When I say so". Needless to say I ignored the man and when I finally made the move I did it when I said so. The job that I did was one nobody liked so it was pretty hard to fill. I can without doubt say that at least 10 people have come and gone from that job since I have departed and that was less than a year ago.

Bosses need to be nice even when they don't know!
i hate you,i mean ur bosslaugh
Hey, Wabbet, I empathize with you. I worked for Value Village, which is a thrift store that sells used clothing. I was only there three weeks. I was expected to do the work of three people for a pittance wage. I was supposed wo whisk through the janitorial duties in this huge store about the size of a typical Wal-Mart, and I only had 20 minutes to do that. Then I had to go to the back room and empty out trash barrels and run the trash crushing machine, fix the bad shopping carts, and run a machine that bundled clothes being sent out to other stores. Any one of these jobs was a fulltime job. They expected an awful lot from one person. The person before me was a woman, and she didn't make it, either. When I left, I asked why I was downsized, and the boss said, "Well, you're so slow." Excuse me? That's when I mentioned to him that he expected me to do the work of at least three people. There have been other bosses I didn't like, but this guy really took the cake.
