Sad news for Animal lovers

I dont know how Familiar you people are with the story of Lobo the Wolf,
and his apparent role in the formation of Yellowstone National Park Sanctuary. It was one of my Favourite story's as a kid.

It formed for me the notion that We as humans have somehow removed ourselves Partly from the guiding hand of nature to become Trespassers on this planet neglecting our role as guardians of it.

Anyhow enough of my ramblings confused
Another Wolf has meet the same fate as Lobo moping

Non, a conversation I hear in a bar here a couple of years ago, one hunter talking to another " I paid 600 euros for my licence last season & only managed to shoot two birds" (we have a smaller version of a pheasant here) Laugh I nearly died, the prat had paid 300 each for two birds smaller than a KFC chicken.
So much for human intellect sigh
Jac I just googled hunting In Ireland and got a site for fox hunting events .
Zman and Jac it seem destiny is not without a sense of humor.

2 hunting dogs both breed for hunting and both bad at it.
Now being talked about over countless miles. By people 2 who love them for the creatures they are !

Ironic Indeed
My Comfrey is very good at hunting mobile phones, I'll have you know. snooty

Zman much a do about nothing if you ask me.
Just felt like accusations were being made. Best to nip these things in the bud. thumbs up

I mean guns and tanks are as inhumane as a mouse with a knife and tape dunno Kinda silly if you ask me !

I have never been a believer in punishing the Innocent with the Guilty.
Do we automatically have the right to share animals' lives?
Jac as far as living on the land together I belive it can be done.

I have never been to Yellowstone Its the one thing on my bucket list,
And if I was mauled to death by an animal while there I would wish no animosity or retribution on it.

I dont think I should be denied a chance to see such a place because others cannot accept their resolvability's towards our planet dunno
because others cannot accept their resolvability's towards our planet
Would you mind explaining this half of the sentence to me?
The thinking that People should not have access to land because Animals live there Is as ridiculous as Animals not having access to land because people live there .

To quote yourself
"If its for a practical reason, like attacks on livestock, then surely there are solutions there as well. I recall seeing a news article about badger baiting and its supposed link with the spread of TB to livestock. Farmers feeding badgers food supplemented with the kind of vitamins and minerals which helped to protect badgers from contracting TB and changing livestock practices was estimated to a cheaper and more effective way of controlling TB in cattle from what I remember. I realise that education is a slow process, however.

I just think tackling issues at their root and making the alternatives more attractive is more sustainable than anything else."
Okay, thank you Non.

The penny's dropped. idea

I'm tired and I need to eat. I'm losing concentration here.

Not helped by the thousandth read of Dinosaurs Love Underpants inbetween posts.
Dinosaurs Love Underpants confused
Your turn to explain that to me some time wave

I'm sure that my American Indian ancestors are turning in their graves right now.
Ccincy Its sad to see because Wolves seem to represent another time and way of living to us. Perhaps the way we used to Be.
They have an untame freedom about them thumbs up
