how old are they?
7/8 Teddy Im thinking of doing a lord of the rings weekend with them but think some of it might be a bit scary dunno
matey,
My 25 year old son and his g/friend went and saw it, His report was that he was disappointed in it as he thought it would be very similar to the "lord of the rings" type story-line, well at least in reckonizing the other stories.
Apart from that he thought it was ok.
He did say there was a very wide variety of age groups there as well.
Hope that helps.....
Yes Simmo all Info is a help.

Im hoping to get a comparison with Harry potter on a fear levelconfused
mate i know it's an old old movie, but let me tell ya, if you want the boys laughing almost non stop, Short Circuit 1 and 2.....
Google it if you dont know it.
Its about 25-30 year old, but is an absolute corker for the laughs and still a decent movie by todays standard i think.....

It's alright Non, myself I wouldn't consider it a great movie for adults, but for kids, they will enjoy it.
More like Slapstick to me, but to each its own when it comes to taste in movies.
I think the earlier one were a lot better.

DELTA would it make sense to run it into lord of the rings if part of the hobbit story is missing. dunno
thanks and kinda off to bed soon.
But just info it is still related in Lord of the ring cos some of players at Lord of the ring play at hobit too, see it at 3D would be more fun wink
fotinia I tried superhero films and they have no interest.

roll eyes Kids
hope your well thumbs up
Yes lavina I love 3d but one of my sons wont were the glasses. He says they make his eyes sore wow
So He wont go to 3d thumbs up

Have a nice sleep and sweet dreams thumbs up
The good thing is you don't have to see the previous trilogy of the Lord of the ring to see the Hobbit. It stands on its own. I am not much into these stories, maybe a gender gap perhaps. But it is entertaining with the NZ scenery and special effects.
thumbs up
Thanks Delta think I will show them after all. applause
well actually the hobbit trilogy story is happening before LOTR.. So I wouldn't include it in the marathon since it won't add anything to it.
Yeah Teddy. Its all confusing too me confused

I have read the book and find it hard to imagine it dragged out to 3 films. I personally think its a money spinner.
Considering the size of the book compared to Lord of the Rings. which was also 3 films
confused
well its confusing looking at it from our point of view.. Since LOTR was so succefull, they wanted to milk out the situationa nd searched for what other stories they could make a movie about.; So thats why they took the story that happened before LOTR.
And offcourse by splitting it up in 3 parts they'll make allot more money out of it.
Teddy Do you know I think I will try read them the book and see if they take to that. dunno
you remind me so much of E (Mark Oliver Everett) Ain't that your name init? ... I just love that guy! I mean .. his music is the pinnacle of human culture. here's one:

AthenaNike Unfortunately not.
I'm afraid I'm just me.
Perhaps in a parallel dimension I am he. dunno
Im more like this guy
