Is there an etiquette of Blogging
Is Ageism, Racism's younger more acceptable little brother.I have noticed on a few occasions this little fellow raise his head on a few blogs, and seem to go unnoticed.
This is a dating site, and no doubt it has its share of
Lecherous leerers and creepy cougars prowling about. That's all about Personal choice. And for the most part I see decent people going about the routine of blogging and posting on forums. Sure you get people who cant agree to disagree but that's just harmless human nature. But when it comes to the crunch who has got and who has not the right to be here.
New People to the online dating scene regardless of age may create false profiles for fear of being seen by peers from
work, College, or just out and about in general. The simple fact you have a false profile or multiple profiles should never be an issue. The only thing We should be concerned with is the use of a Profile. How its used to meet and greet others online. What I really want to say is we are all of us never transparent and 100% honest in room with strangers are we ?
The same argument may be used for those without Photos. If your not comfortable doing it don't.
As for those Placing a False Photo on your profile, It is a very Silly thing to do if your not in the business of trolling.
and you will be called and caught on it at some stage. !
Do You remember your first time entering the New world of online singles I imagine it was a daunting step ?
I remember mine and I must say I would liken it to standing on an edge of a pier about to plunge into the dark cold winter sea.
I mean you know you chose a safe spot to do it,
but there will still be shock as you enter.
Fake Profiles are I would suppose a way in which we can test the water. I know this Because I thought about doing it when I started. But I swim quite a bit and have never been a toe dipper I prefer to instantly jump in. So I can tell for your pleasure or disbelief that I have blogged with this and no other Profile since taking the plunge. But hey that's just the way I do things.
Do you think Every one has a right to be here even your Ex should they decide to show up. ?
Do you think We need more border patrol's and Gestapo style checkpoints on CS, I don't think so. And I hate this cold war espionage stuff too.
Just blog and be happy. That's my motto. And if you do think it necessary to run security checks then try to be discreet It puts people on edge.
I believe everybody has a right to be here Unhindered and unharmed. And as in reality Talk should never be swapped for Violence, On the blogs we should never use our words as tool of demoralization.

But That's the risk of online dating, be it paid sites or free sites, Its not just a problem for CS.
Because of the nature of things it happens.
I read a blog the other day about a blind date gone wrong.
We all experienced that, but we didn't delete the friend who organised it.
Would you agree to date someone you thought was factitious. We all have common sense to use.
and I meant why worry about a bloggers profile until it becomes necessary

Yes they do have very valid points. So what solutions do you offer.
All I am saying is I am certainly not going to become an eye spy note taker. my time is to valuable for it.

Nah, had a friendly chat and that was it for me, but had to clarify a while later that this is not the done thing for me. He now has a profile where he even claims to be younger plus a fake pic.
Its kinda of sad that people who are nice feel the need to try to fool others. Unless they believe they still look the same as in the old pics. which is a recognized problem in quite a few forms.
