Hope
A few months ago I joined this site because I was bored. These blogs would bring me a distraction in my daily life.And they sure did, I've met some of the most amazing people here. I had my laughs with many of you. I've had the fortune to read some of the most hilarious things on here.
But the most amazing person i've met is ofcourse my girlfriend. Today i've talked with her on cam for the last time. Next time when I see her i will be standing face to face with her.
Me and my girl have been talking about Cs and our future on this site. We have reached the conclusion that we don't have a purpose for this site anymore. We did however agree that we will stay untill after my trip. We will let all of you know how it went and what our plans for the future are.
We agreed on this to show each and everyone that love can be found in this place if only you are honnest and truthfull.
We hope that our story can bring hope to many others and we wish you all the best in your search for happiness.

i envy people like you's, i'd never allow or expect anyone travel to meet me.. what if it all went belly up

I am engaged to my fiance that I found on this site.
Agreed, that there is no need to stay here, but for me, while I am away from my fiance (we are waiting for the appropriate visas to be processed - could take up to 12 months) I have decided to stay here because I have many friends here.
It is safe, and I don't want to lose touch with many people I have become good friends with.
Actually, I have some now that I chat with and keep in touch with through facebook, etc.
So even though you don't need this site and it has fulfilled its original purpose, there is scope and room to still hang out with friends you have made here.
Just thought it is worth mentioning this aspect before you both decide to 'pull the pin' after your trip.... unless you intend to stay together from then onwards.
But for me, I knew that the process I have begun was not going to be a quick and easy path. So I stay here to chat with others who encourage me while I wait until the time my fiance and I can marry and stay together without needing to be separate any more because of borders, and government red-tape.....

When I want to have a video call, they either show me a prepared video fo0r 1-2 min, or ask me to undress. Nice, isn't it.
When u have time, maybe u will tell us how u found your beloved, to encourage us to stay and continue searching.

HalvO, I know this site could offer some support in that manner, but I have some of the best people from this site on my fb and emailcontacts. I'm pretty sure i will still read a lot of blogs here especially at first but i'll do it without account so no more comments from me.
The time needed here for the visa and such should take about a year as well. We are still looking into what our best options are.
prettyandwitty, My lady is the first and only one i ever did videochat with so I wouldn't know how others do it.
We met on the blogs, exchanged quite some mails on the site. Added eachother to facebook, from then on mailed here chatted on fb a bit inbetween and things just happened. I think we were mailing chatting for about 2 months before we went to cam.
