A mumble in a chaotic city far from home
Been away from family and friends for some days. Been away from this site for quite sometimes as well. I found one that has just been engaged, one that was "on the market again", that's what he said. Me, after a year in this site, still find it hard to be in a relationship again. Were some people born to be single? In a happy way, I mean, not a lonely way.What do you think?

Looking back, after a long marriage and one relationship for a year, I think that it is better to be alone than to be with the wrong person.

Guadal, sometimes I think "normal" is overrated, don't you think?
It's important to have good relationships. Having a primary (romantic) relationship can be wonderful but it isn't essential.
Having good relationships in our lives is what should be 'normal'.
If you have people around you (friends, family, neighbors, anyone) who offer you support and share their good feelings (affection) with you (as you share yours with them), you will be happy and content.
* It's important to find and build these relationships.
That's my outlook anyways ... always wishing you the best.
