How to spot a pretzel in India

Pretzels are known as murukku ( mu as moo in moon, ru as roo in room, k-ku as c-koo in cuckoo ) in India. Unlike the western-styled pretzels, here they are made of rice and lentil. Murukkus are available in several mouth-watering flavors - butter, coconut milk, garlic etc. And if you still miss the western ones while travelling in India, try "wetzel's pretzels" at whitefield ( bengaluru ) or buy online.
