Now or never

Throw your child's laptop, tablet, and mobile phone outside the window - and break the kid's video game console using a hammer. Come! let us teach them, once again, how to play and enjoy life like a real person.

My children never had new gadgets, really wonder what parents are thinking now days. I enjoyed the outdoors growing up and still do.
Now or Never, Love the Idea. Prior to the computer age kids knew how to have fun, how to communicate, had better work ethics, and social skills. Miss those days.
hi kandy! there is so much to do for parents with their kids like camping and trekking.
hi 1to1!

gadgets and internet are messing up childhood - we must act now.
True that!!!!!
put a axe through the tv and that will fix that .....and new mums putting their babies in front of a tv are to blame for making the problem generation ...
scold AJK.; I was just talking about this with someone here at cs, yesterday!. PS: Those were the days!
yes butterfly!
virgo!

research showed long ago that even the radiation from tv-s are harmful. a growing kid should not watch tv constantly.
angel! i promise that i will play only with mud with you. remember michigan residents mud limbo?!
AJK.; . . . .Ok! wink
Where I live kids still play outside as most of the parents are too poor to afford stuff like that. Sometimes good to be poor.
Hi Aj
I can still remember playing all of those... and a few others. There were nothing else to play but that and a few board games. The real good old days.sigh

Families are growing apart because using gadgets is more important today.

My memories of the past games we played are some of the best.
I am so blessed to have known this time.
oh I love to play but I was not successful in my games always lose but one thing for sure I was always succesfull in a game called school teacher.. I was the teacher and other children where students....so I got privilege to do and say anything as a real teacher do.

I know, did some of this as a child myself, now my grandkids grows up learning that the TV and the Computer and the phone is life... It is not life it is a bad thing. Children all over the world poor or rich should be able to pay together like that again. I wanna cry! :teddybeat:
Lovely pictures ! I agree with you..Children will have no imagination because from Toddlers they are being put in front of Tv sets, teenagers are playing Computer games. On public transport everyone, teenagers, kids, adults, they are not able to sit in peace and look out the window anymore, they are all on Mobile phones and iphones and Tablets, I think the Radiation has to be harmful and there is a huge jump here in the amount of children getting Brain Tumours and also Eye cancer.. from holding the phones right up to the eye area.
Obesity is rampant as well as these kids get lifts everywhere, hardly ever walk or play outside, have too much pocket money and are buying Chips and Burgers on the way home from school.. thats about 1,000 Cals. Bad calories too ! This country [Ireland ] certainly Dublin, has become very Americanised, [no disrespect to USA] I am talking about the mad things, MacDonalds, watching US American programmes and they have aquired the lingo and slang used in the USA.
I do hanker for those days when I walked home from school to buy sweets, when I took an old pair of curtains and got the old Sewing machine out and made a lovely dress for my first dance !! I am not a mother, but I can see friends, their kids are on the internet, Iphones constantly... life is lived through cyber. Its sad. They dont notice the beauty of Nature anymore and are going to the Gym because of Obesity and are obsessed with looking like Celebs.
Let them learn the ways by themselves...
Hi AJ, I remember playing all these games too when I was a wee lass. There was nothing much for us to do then I guess. But I think it's impossible for my kids to play all these games due to some reasons. People nowadays do not have many kids like how they used to way way back then. It's too costly to have too many kids in today's world. Moreover, it's no longer safe for the kids to play outside with all these abductions and kidnappings so rampant lately. The structure of our community, the housing estates also contribute to the demise of these games..sadly...sad
