Never ever say that you want a partner earnestly

I am well established in life. Well, the reason why I am here is because I like to write my idea.

I have a plan to wait a few more months, then I want to visit Europe or USA. I want to visit the universities there. Life is too short to waste time waiting only.
I wish to register a university to study.

What do you think of my plan?

I mean I need wait a few months more, then I will visit Europe of USA from Dubai.
In the trip, I will like to find a university to register myself.
What do you want to study?
I have graduated from a quality university in China in chemistry. And I like finance personally. I can teach people well, which I feel it is not that challenging and stressful. Maybe I can either further study: petroleum related subjects, then find a job in oil company

or I go for easy work, study English, and be an A level teacher.

I feel tired of fighting in life, want to settle down now.
@peony Great plan with certain evident loop-holes. First you seem to be a bit confused. You studied chemistry and want to study further in petroleum to seek a job in some oil company and amazingly at the same time wishes to be a teacher. Are you in some dilemma to choose between the career and the passion. If me to decide I instantly go for the later i.e. the passion.

Great advice!I am in a dilemma to choose the right career for myself. I have worked very hard before and have set up a stable life. And now I want to lead a peaceful life, maybe be a teacher is a good thing for me, as I long for non challenging work. And I am good at teaching.

Thank you!
I got an offer to study in the USA in MBA,indeed the tuition is a bit high, in total it is like 80000usd yearly. I doubt I like to do too stressful work. If it is like 50000usd, I might go for it
I will suggest you to take up a competition for the entrance in JNU(JAWAHAR LAL NEHRU UNIVERSITY, NEW DELHI,INDIA) for post graduation in English literature. I think it would be best for you.

I don't think I want to go to Asian countries at all. So India is not my choice for sure. I will only consider western countries.
I do have the intention to meet locally some regular western guys. So Asian countries will not be choice at all.
Okay rests on you....but I bet you will regret your choice if sometime later you sit to look back.....Anyways usually I don't suggest but when intuitively I am driven to...then only.
Go ahead! Best of luck!
I think you have a great plan, go for it. I'm sure you'll have lots of success both at the University and once graduated.
I am in Dubai now, and I have set up a good life in Dubai already. I will not go to India for sure. It is very clear.
I will not regret this choice.Cos I intend to look for a life in western society, so that if I go to india, it is definitely a waste of my time.
I have always been handling my life, never count on anyone else. I know what I want. I do hesitate to choose a career. I have good education in Chemistry, but since I have very stable life, I want to go for an easy job, teaching A level. That is the reason why I refuse to study MBA in USA, cos I think it is very demanding, and require too high tuition for what it is.

Thank you for your kind advice.

So I will try to be ready for a trip to western countries.
Thank you for the advice. I was fairly good at academy. So that I will do my best if I study in western country. I have heard that it is not a safe place in India for single ladies.
Sure, for anyone safety is the first thing people need think. So that I can be focus on studying only.
mizzou univ.has a wide range of studys/broadcasting?
Peony!

I hope your talking about our Pacific 12 schools. Southern California has a wonderful university called University of California Loa Angeles (UCLA). It sounds like you talking Harvard or some thing like that! Perhaps Stanford.
Hi Ed

I have small wish, so that not that high dream in fact.Almost any USA university will do me. I only want to sit down and study. And I wish to meet more local friends.
I have met a guy here, but maybe i have a daughter, which is a problem. Anyway it is ok.. I will still keep on searching for the right guy for myself

doh

cheers I will find the right guy who likes to be with me.
Then UCLA is the place for you. It is located in a beautiful safe place in west Los Angeles called Westwood. It has great entertainment of all sorts. And I mean clean social fun of all sorts! It is safe inland but oh so close to the beach! There are world class museums and everywhere is within 20 a mile radius. And the weather is magnificent!

it is a very liberal college in the culture scene! Your Chinese heritage will be accepted with open arms!

AND PLENTY OF HANDSOME MEN TO CHOOSE FROM!!!!! Hee Hee
Hi Ed,

Thank you for introducing to me so much. I am not sure whether I could get myself registered in UCLA.

I will like to make a trip around first, then find a university to register.I am not as ambitious as before.

I was very ambitious, and I supported my daughter all along till now. And when i first went to Beijing, I only borrowed 600usds from my uncle. And I studied hard, and worked hard.Until now I have the total life established.

I wish a guy can come along and we both can appreciate each other
Hi Peony.wave Couldn't help but read your blog and express interest in a major university in the US. There are numerous universities here that would be a good fit for you.

One I can think of is the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Wisconsin. Beautiful campus and is situated on beautiful Lake Mendota! Large student body! I have a daughter who graduated from nursing school there and my son graduated from law school there! Good housing and lots of things to do! The population of Madison and surrounding area, is around 500,000 people!

Check it out!handshake
Id recommend Sydney or Melbourne. Australia is a better place to live, and better pay at the end of the day . Also health care is almost Free. Huge chinese community in Australia . Much better quality of life in Australia than the usa.
