I lost my independence the day I got married. However, I thought nothing of it until recently when I got into this predicament. Can't leave with the kids coz I have no source of income of my own.
Now, with the father of my kids not working for more than a year, I'd need to take over the reins and seek for a job soon

Marriage should enhance both your lives and not end it. I do think that relationships who are formed when young and just taking some things "as given" are different than the ones we form as we are older and "our own" person.
Independence is worth working for even if it means a job.
Feeling very uncertain now. Gotta work for the kids' tuition fee coz their dad has been jobless for more than a year now.
At the same time, terrified of going back to the workforce again having left it for more than 16 years
