I liked some of Glen's stuff, but those that stick more in my mind were early Neil Young and early John Denver. Loved it!
My very first favourites were Cat Stevens and Donovan.
Those were glory days of balladeers, but I've been really happy to see a resurgence in recent years with the likes of Jack Johnson and others.
Thanks for the memories, Loulou
My parents loved Glen Campbell..his music was quick to grow on me as a kid and through to today..
With liking a vast range of music id have to say "Wichita Linesman" is one of favourite songs..
I thought the last song he could ever record, that he wrote for his wife,"I wont forget you",shows he really is The Gentleman Of Country Music"..
Tango
I remember this song! It now remind me of the song; Don't Let Your Babies Grown up! To Be Cowboy's.
By the way! I likes country music. Especially! Reba.
My favorite one by her is
" Sky Full Of Angels "...
I love closet classics. They don't make music like that anymore. Back in the day when their pens were dipped in lightning

Alziheimers eh...

He certainly was talented...lots of good music he penned...the good old days...
My parents loved his music as well...always had some record on to fill the house with music...this song was my favorite from him...
Reba was another talent...she had some good hits...loved her big hair!!...Cat Stevens I like as well...and Carly Simon!!
Back then people didn't lip sync either...good music that resonated with people...classic stuff!!
Thanks for the clip...good music to share with all...cheers!!
I agree...something about the seventies...happier times for a lot of people...the good old days...
No worries...you probably have music that I do not know...take a listen if you want!!...
I do like those artists too!!...Wild World and Your So Vain...good hits from them both!!...
A FUNNY MAN SAID ONCE (LAMENTFULLY)

Yeah i heard plenty about Glen Campbell & his music.

You are welcome!!...it is a good one!!
Yes...a great musician and singer...
Galveston is one of my favourite Glen Campbell songs.
I particularly like the base guitar music near the end.
Thanks for posting!
Glen is one of the legends. My older brother loved him! Had some of his songs playing at his wedding party. Yes, that was long ago (my brother has since divorced) but I still remember his love of Glen Campbell's music.
