Dont get mad... Get even
I am quite sure a lot of us have heard this phrase before, however, after reading one of the current blogs I am inspired to suggest it is true to say that the phrase should read... “I’m mad, now I’m going to get even”.From my experience, what follows is usually a defamation of character so scathing it is a wonder the person actually liked who they are talking about in the first place. Not only are the words (some that would make a sailor blush) designed to be as heartfeltly painful as possible to the recipient, but are repeated over and again until the perpetrator feels vindicated.
In a recent situation of my own there has been a woman writing to a woman that has known me for a long time (apparently), who in turn is writing to a woman I know, who I know, has been in contact with a woman I once knew and who was also in contact with another woman I knew..... Complicated?.... Yup!
Fortunately most men are to shallow for this style of intrigue.

I learned long ago that nothing makes them more madder then just showing you don't give a darn.
But yup, you got some good advice already here. If there's anything you can fix, fix it. If there's anything you put a stop to, put a stop to it. Ignore what you can't change.
Me, I make sock puppets when the person I want to make peace with isn't around to talk!
Like politics, it is not so much about what people say in public it is what goes on behind the scenes.
Very true
Dont stick to many pins in those sock puppets...
As for the 1%, perhaps they just let bygones be bygones and move on.
