Love the nun who spoke on his show...a very interesting show than before...I know he has a problem with Trump...but so many Republicans also...couldn't download his whole program but a pretty good piece of what Maher is about...
He obviously cannot stand religion but this nun makes a very good impression on him...she is a Pope Francis supporter...very liberal...but agreed...he makes religion look archaic and idiotic...
when you are used to the way discussions like this are conducted here, I cannot resist wondering if such a civilized discussion is real and not staged.
Great show. I've always liked Bill Maher's show. I may not always agree with him on everything, but I do like his show and the way he hosts it and presents it.
I also used to like the ole Dennis Miller show, especially the episode where Robin Williams came on and pulled his whole show format out of proportion. Was very funny.

Cat, of course it is staged, it is a weekly show. How could you have a weekly show without it being staged?
Nonetheless, he often has some great guests on his show. Gingrich, Ann Coultier, Bill O'Reilly, various Governors and Congressfolk, and he goes right to the issues with a panel on the other side. You will sometimes here some profanity though. You will also often get some insights the mainstream media doesn't always mention.
I watched about half of the republican debate and I am not sure I really learned anything new about the candidates. I like the doctor's sense of humor.

I think it is a better produced show than some of the others...many guests from different backgrounds which actually discuss politics without the usual BS...a lot more informative than the debates!!
I think he makes good points but do disagree with Maher on a few issues such as his opinions about Muslims...but overall he does listen to what his guests have to say and isn't afraid of being disagreed with...
He is entertaining as well as bringing up relevant topics for discussion...wish more programs were designed to discuss political issues like his format...yes there is profanity and does not need it to provide comic relief...
Well I find the Republican debate more like the Trump show...lol...hopefully there will be more even debates in the future that does not resemble a circus...

But! I do like the question that he ask. That's more then what the News Reports will ask!
Yes his opinions are not everyone's cup of tea but he is good at asking appropriate questions and demands that politicians know what is going on in this world...and questions their rationale in regards to supporting or non support of such programs like planned parenthood...

I watched the debate! Between the Republicans. And in my opinion!
Didn't know one really answer the questions.
In my opinion! The debate wasn't about her. It were about which one of them will be the best candidate to run from that party, for President.
Anyway! I still don't see anyone yet!...
Despite the controversy regarding Hillary...she seems to be the better choice...looking at her plan and recognizing education grants and decreased student loan interest rates...but will have to see more from her in regards to other social programs and or other key issues that the public see as important...
Right! I can agree to that. But! I will like to see more from the rest of them.
