Glad that Canada has welcomed Syrian Refugees...perhaps this is what we need to show others...time for peace and love...

The people that are coming into Canada appreciate our efforts...not scary ultra religious folks...as some may feel they are...just normal people wanting a better life...concerned about their children's future...
It was a time consuming process and very well planned...but due to the arduous processing task...the total amount of refugees planned will not be here before Christmas...February of 2016 is the new date...thanks for posting!!

Thanks for your post...Canada is a vast country...we do not inhabit much of it due to the cold...our larger cities border the US...
Trudeau our new PM is just what Canada needed...fresh young ideas...his selection of associates reflect multiculturalism...women are so few in politics as well as people of different ethnicity...(non-Caucasian)
PM Trudeau changed the political landscape to reflect society...
He won due to discriminatory views held by our Conservative government...sunny ways my friend is what we need...and our optimism extends to those in need...
Who knows what is in store for us...but I will always be optimistic about grass roots people...the ones who are the victims in this political war...
Not many of the Syrian refugees wanted to start a new life here in Canada...but those that decided to come...it was a huge leap of faith...I am sure they are afraid too...
Your sarcasm is noted...lol...but isn't it better to praise countries to help the refugees out than to criticize them?...US is not allowing refugees from Syria due to hysterical notions from a few states in the US...not helping your cause at all...
If this notion that Muslims are banned from entering the US...how many can you manage in Europe?...and what is your country contributing to stopping ISIS?...
Canada has pledged to help out which should be a great relief for you...perhaps once they are settled here in Canada...we will see how they are adjusting to Western life...
Thanks for the info...but as Canada is a mosaic society...they have a choice with religion...our laws reflect all people...equality is king...and the differences that are present in any multicultural country...reflects our constitution...
I doubt our generosity is going to be exploited...here is to having faith in common man/women...

Yes I get your concern...but we are addressing some very important situations at hand...I trust the MP whom has already acknowledged the missing aboriginals (first nations) and will continue to do so...whatever the issue is...Justin T. has a huge task at hand...internally and globally...

Thanks for posting...it is not a desirable position to be in...having such need to be done internally opposed to globally...but the situation has presented itself and Canada was asked to help...as I said before not everyone was willing to take the risk in moving to Canada...after all the refugees probably want to reside in a country that has similar values...among other concerns...
Let us help those in need and if their country becomes stable...let them go back if that is their desire...hoping it will be peaceful once again...
But I do hope you guys take some from Europe. I am not sure I can see where you base your optimism though in terms of their integration, the facts here in Europe show to the contrary. Let's hope you know better how to defend your values.
Lets make a change...who is to say that we cannot live peacefully...in regards to religious beliefs...it can happen....
