Strange night

Last night I had a dream that I woke up and a face was beside me in my bed. I then left like I was grabbed by my troth and pushed against my bed room wall. I then woke for really my arms were really sore and the back of my neck was bruised.I was awake for a few hours and then fell back to sleep. I was sleeping on on side but I left forced face down onto the bed I manged to get up with great difficulty. My bed was a mess and I stayed awake for the rest of the time all day my arms and neck have been really sore like I was in a real fight. Have you ever had this experience?

some people can be really physically active when they dream.....as if they are experiencing the dream in real life. May be why you are sore. You were probably moving around a lot while you were dreaming and possibly banged the wall a few times lol.....you're an active dreamer....it happens comfort
I have never done that and I really wouldn't want to go through out.
How do 1r1 wave
I can thankfully say that I haven't uh oh

Almost two weeks ago I was lingering in bed, wanting to stay under my warm cosy covers rather then get up to face another cold morning, kind of fell back into a snooze where I had a bit of a dream of how as a child I had my left leg broken 3 times, got dressed that morning with a thought for my mother, what kind of a handful must I of being to her, always getting into trouble and mischief when I was a kid... strangely enough I slipped down the stairs that morning, resting up since with a badly damaged left leg .. coincidence or what dunno confused

the person to answer your questions would be socrates44, you might find him in the poets corner ...

I'm not sure if it was here or in England but a man got away with murdering his wife while she slept .. the pro's were able to prove his actions were done in his sleep... I remember it well at the time because it had given me some ideas concerning my then husband roll eyes giggle

Ps, thanks .. I'm grand hug
Hi Itchy

It was the UK and I believe a wife got away with some thing similar in the USA. I think every one has thought about it when it comes to spouses. lol
I think your right 1R1, so I won't argue with you on that one laugh

Ever think could your house be haunted dunno
Hi Itchy

It has long been debated that house is haunted because of the years different family members have had strange experiences. but It could also be the research I am doing playing on my mind as well.

I think your experience may be related to “Sleep Paralysis”.

I posted a blog sometime ago entitled “The nightmare of Sleep Paralysis” based on an article at:

Itchy's comment is probably in reference to this blog.

The following are excerpts from the article:

“But what exactly is sleep paralysis, and why does it occur?

REM is when we experience our most vivid dreams and during this spell, the brain sends your body into a state of complete paralysis. This is a perfectly normal event which occurs every night and we believe it’s a mechanism to prevent us from acting out our dreams which could be highly dangerous. But when sleep goes wrong, you can actually wake up during the REM period, while your body is still paralysed.

Many people who suffer from these abnormal occurrences only experience paralysis. But because they are both awake and still in the REM stage of sleep, some will begin hallucinating with their eyes open, projecting vivid and often threatening dreams into their bedroom surroundings.”

Thanks for your kind comment.
However, I am just an average person.
Nice to see you back, Socrates handshake
I was also going to suggest the sleep paralysis.
I know a few people who suffer from this too.
Maybe just think at the time around this night were you in emotional turmoil over something. Stress which gets covered up bravely through the day takes the micky when we are semi consious. ???

Hope you had better nights sleep since.hug
