Driving and Dreaming
I was setting in my van soaking up the sun like I do most days! Drinking a little wine and listening to singer, John Denver, my favorite! Decided to take a drive around the countryside! Beautiful sunny day, temp 60 deg! Wow, what a great time driving down country roads where there is no traffic! I drank and sang along with JD! My voice isn't quite what it use to be! I drove many miles down different roads and loved every minute of it! Only wish I had had a woman with me!Have you ever done that? If so, what were feelings!

We're not allowed to drink and drive here
I knew a guy who got called for jury duty on a 'driving with open bottle' case.
During jury selection, the prosecutor asked him if he'd ever driven with an open bottle.
Said he, "This is Wisconsin! Hasn't everybody?!"
He was excused from jury duty on that case.
Well, yeah we have such laws.
Just in some places they're thought of more as 'guidelines'.
...
Some folks claimed Wisconsin's State Quarter should've pictured a carful of drunk teenagers in a gravel pit.
:drink:...
This blog isn't about right or wrong drinking! It's about how someone gets the urge to go out away from people and just cruise and hangout! I don't drive where there is traffic! It sort of like floating and enjoying the moment!
Yes, I sang that song and many others by JoHn Denver! One of my all time favorite singers, Take Me Home Country Roads!
How about Rocky Mountain High, Sunshine On My Shoulders, Starwood in Aspen, Leaving On A Jet Plane! Great music!
I like the word guidlines instead of laws!
Do you ever go out cruising on the back roads and listening to music?
