For some time there has been reports that Sweden is in decline due to pressures put upon its societal and economic institutions by the influx of immigrants.

Until recently, these reports have come largely from individuals reporting/opining on venues such as YouTube.

Recent reports from Swedish officials now appear to be saying much the same thing.

Basically, the Norwegian PM has announced that country will not abide by Geneva Convention provisions for taking in refugees, and will close and enforce its border with Sweden in the event of its collapse.

Individuals opining via YouTube vids are one thing.
Official actions being announced by a head of state are quite another.
'Actions speaking louder than words', as the saying goes.

This is as heartbreaking as it is surprising.
Sweden has long been thought of as one of the better and more progressive societies in which to live.
That it now appears confronted with a situation which may lead to its collapse is something that would've been well nigh unimaginable not so very long ago.

Heartbreaking.

In a year when two aircraft have been lost a third must surely spell the end for some of these budget airlines? Whilst one could be considered unfortunate, three to me smacks of a lack of duty in the safety of their passengers, whilst the facts are not yet known the plane, an Airbus A320-200, is the workhorse of budget airlines & has an excellent safety record, when operated in accordance with good procedures.

North Murkuns eagerly awaiting this year's forecast of an early Spring/continued Winter.

Reports are that snow persons in many communities have been doused with gasoline and snow shovels are piled high.
The snow persons & shovels will be set ablaze in the event that the local marmot meteorologist proclaims Winter's end.

Groundhog Day, the only day of the year named for an animal, is the highest, most eagerly anticipated & festive day of the entire year!

It marks the last vestige of the prior year/Christmas Season.
In the Old Church Calendar, Feb. 2 is the Feast of The Purification of The Virgin/Candlemas.

It is at this time of year that weather patterns begin to shift.
Northerly patterns which bring high pressure & clear cold weather begin to give way to more Southerly patterns bringing low pressure, warmer temps, clouds & often heavy wet Spring snows.
This change was noted by ol' time weather watchers.
If the change occurred at mid-Winter, it indicated the change had begun & Spring would arrive early.
Hence the old weather saw -

'If Candlemas Day dawn fair and clear,
Expect two Winters in the year.
If Candlemas brings clouds and rain,
Go Winter and come not again.'

A friend of mine, Smarty from Indonesia, ask me to post this.

Without any intention to disregard the victims, I consider that today we, the people of The Republic of Indonesia, have successfully humiliated ISIS. What happened today is a total failure terrorism, which resulted more terrorists were killed than the target itself ([5 terrorists] vs [1 police officer and 1 foreigner, may they rest in peace]) -thanks to the military and Indonesia Police Corps quick alertness -.

Aside from the numbers, the situation was quite an embarrasement for ISIS. Instead of being terrorized and frightened, Indonesian people even made various bullies, jokes, and funny memes about the terror situation, which is planned to immitate Paris Attack. We made a buzz about a satay seller that conveniently open his booth 100 meters from the bomb scene, a military officer that ordered out a fried tofu from a hawker, the president who came to location without a bulletproof vest, a Gucci shoes of an handsome and fashionable police officer, a miscommunication between ISIS leader and his executioner, a bomb scene that turned out be a selfie spot, and a hawker who testify the sold out of his cold drinks and cigarettes while the terror occured. With that kind of stories and memes, people then created the hashtag #KamiTidakTakut (means We Are Not Afraid) that inspired many news websites around the world. What a defiant message from Indonesian, they said. A lot of foreigner journalists are surprised to see the reaction of Indonesian people who unexpectedly mock the terrorists hilariously.

A stupid and arrogant threats that came from ISIS leader in Syria months before, -that there would be a "Concert" in Indonesia-, has failed to take place. After Christmas dan New Year's Eve terror plan fall to pieces due to the tight security protection from police officers, today's attack turned out to be even more humiliating for ISIS. Fears of ISIS may haunt the whole world, but suprisingly, does not apply to Indonesian. Today we consider them a bunch of stupid clowns. The Jakarta "concert" is proven a pain in the a** for ISIS leaders.

It turns out that the idea of declaring ISIS nation in Indonesia is so blunt that it would took more that 50 years for us to take that seriously. It already becomes a joke here.

Anyway, please reshare this miraculous ending on your facebook wall. Show your families, your friends, and everybody that that we will never lose against terrorism.

Probably the hottest gift for under $40 is the Echo Dot voice-controlled speaker sold through Amazon. It runs the Alexa Artificial Intelligence system and can be used to play music, control smart appliances, answer questions, set timers and more...

The Echo Dot is their entry level device and the Echo and Echo Plus are available and have bigger speakers with better audio.

Echo, waits for your voice command to carry out your instructions. It's silent until he hears the 'wake word' and the standard wake word is ALEXA. Because of this, most people call the device by the wake word ALEXA and not by it's real name Echo. You have a choice of 4 different wake words which is important if someone near the device is named Alexa or you have 2 devices in close proximity then both will respond. I've set mine to wake with the word 'Echo'
It's not perfect as it often it starts talking thinking I called it by name. I reply with "Echo, I wasn't talking to you" and it apologizes and goes back to sleep.

I received one for Christmas and downloaded the app that connects it to a Wi-Fi signal. It's designed to operate by voice command, but you can also control it through your cellphone.

Echo is great for pulling up facts and figures. I didn't have a calculator handy and asked it to run some numbers... yeah, that worked for me.

Sometimes, I'll stump Echo asking a question the device cannot find an answer. I've read it collects hundreds of thousands of questions and adds them to the learning process, similar to the BORG in the Star Trek movies. The logic comes from a central system that gets smarter with time.

I asked "Echo, what's heavier, a ton of bricks or a ton of feathers" and the response was they weigh the same but the feathers required a considerably larger volume. Satisfied with the response, I asked "Echo, explain trickle-down economics"

From the video I seen, and from what I heard about how it went down, to me it looks like the police shooting in Atlanta was justified. Why the Atlanta Mayor would want the two police officers fired before any investigation shows the type of incompetent corrupt mayor she may be. Why would the Atlanta Police Chief feel that she had to resign this morning?!
The officer had no other choice but to shoot Brooks, since Brooks had one of the officer's taser and turned around with taser in hand and had planned on using it against the officer. Now, as to why the officer felt the need to shoot Brooks three times remains to be seen.

This is not another George Floyd in my opinion.

But when it comes to more and more people objecting, rioting, and burning anything and everything in site no matter if the police is justified, to me I chalk it up to more useful idiots doing the devil's work. Unfortunately, evil is growing more and more in these times.

Great Britain to leave EU !


Today is the last day of campaigning in the so called Brexit election, with both sides slinging mud at the other hoping some will stick the BBC news service, once renown for it's impartiality, on the suffice at least, has I believe shown it's true colours in the last week by hiding some news items & plugging others, one item having at least having two stories listed on there headlines every day for a week.

Like everyone in the UK I was saddened by the murder of the MP Jo Cox, whom I'm in little doubt was a genuine caring person, however I'm now coming to the conclusion some see this as manner from heaven as far as there campaign goes, but all is not what it seems even there, big play & massive public support has been seen for Jo's causes, but even the most worthy people can be fooled sometimes, following a post I saw on FB I've done a little research on one of these "causes" she supported & is now receiving public donations, White Helmets, on the face of it a humanitarian organisation currently involved in Syria.

White Helmets, founded by James Le Mesurier, a humanitarian hmmmm, former UK Army Intelligence officer, who went on to become a private contractor in organisations like the American firm Blackwater, funded by western governments & George Soros, remember him, the man who nearly bankrupt the UK on Black Wednesday, personally making over a billion pounds in 24 hours betting against the pound in the doomed EU Exchange Rate Mechanism & now a vocal pro EU supporter, yes I wonder why there are accusations that White Helmets are nothing more than a tool to get rid of Assad, using pictures taken from all over & claiming them as proof of Assad's use of barrel bombs against his population, I'm sure this story will rumble on for some time to come, but we Brits have only today to make up our minds about who to believe & who's telling porkies to further their own ends.

In the House of Representatives, it's almost a clean sweep,
a lot of governors too.
We the people, no longer want to put up with Trump and his cronies.
They don't want the rich to get all the benefits.
The house has been renovated. A lot of the trash was taken out
and more will likely be taken out in 2 years.

Get ready for justice !
There's been a whole lot of investigations that have been snuffed by the prior Republican house majority.
Not any longer.
Nancy Pelosi will return to being the Speaker of the House.
All the committees will have Democrat heads.

Mr. T. is FINALLY going to have to hand over his tax returns and they will be closely scrutinized.
He will no longer be able to abuse the power of the presidency.
Mueller is going to have full backing and encouraged to get to the bottom of his crimes.
Kavanaugh is going to be fully investigated
so will Scott Pruitt
and Jared and Don Jr.
Trump will be impeached.

But, will you finally listen ? No.
Well, it doesn't matter. You will witness it anyway.
