Recent reports from Swedish officials now appear to be saying much the same thing.

Basically, the Norwegian PM has announced that country will not abide by Geneva Convention provisions for taking in refugees, and will close and enforce its border with Sweden in the event of its collapse.
Individuals opining via YouTube vids are one thing.
Official actions being announced by a head of state are quite another.
'Actions speaking louder than words', as the saying goes.
This is as heartbreaking as it is surprising.
Sweden has long been thought of as one of the better and more progressive societies in which to live.
That it now appears confronted with a situation which may lead to its collapse is something that would've been well nigh unimaginable not so very long ago.
Heartbreaking.

What's opined upon by individual YouTubers can/should be taken with a very large grain of salt.
But when the information comes from interviews with officials willing to go public with similar - and quite possibly even more dire warnings - that simply must be taken more seriously.
Not-so-fake news, if you will.

As you mentioned, the immigrants are arriving from a very different culture.
Beyond that, the recent arrival of very large numbers of immigrants/refugees would make assimilation difficult under the very best of conditions.
The U.S. has a long history of arrivals from many cultures/places of origin.
The proverbial melting pot.
Experience shows that it takes three generations for people to progress from newly arrived immigrant to 1st generation American to 2nd generation fully assimilated American.
Thinking about it, I can see this progression within my own family, both sides of which arrived in the U.S. circa late 1800s.
My Mom was a 1st generation American.
Though born in the U.S., she grew up in a closely knit immigrant community and did not even learn to speak English until she was about 12 and rather well along in school.
Assimilating very large numbers of immigrants - relative to the size of the native population - from another culture, speaking a different language would put great strain on both immigrants & the host country.
Just the sheer numbers would make the assimilation process significantly more difficult.
And that under the very best and most ideal conditions, you understand.

It's an old radio series that humorously and poignantly portrayed the progress of the program's protagonist to 'become an American' as he related the story in letters to his Mama Mia back in Italy.

That acknowledged, large numbers of immigrants - from whatever place of origin and for whatever reason - undeniably put strains on the cultural and economic fabric of any host country.
As has been cited in a previous post this is true under the best and most ideal conditions.
What is taking place in Sweden appears to be occurring under conditions far worse than the best and most ideal.
Cited in the OP as evidence of this is the fact that such issues are no longer merely opined upon by YouTubers and on social site blogs (such as this) but are being openly addressed by the Stockholm Chief of Police and several other officials in Sweden and other Scandinavian countries.
Further evidence of such strain is the announcement by the Norwegian PM to disregard International Law by forcibly denying refugees entrance into her country across its border with Sweden.
The situation has been exacerbated by the immigrant crisis of recent years.
It is further exacerbated by persistent reports that substantial numbers of the arrivals may be Jihadis intent upon waging their holy war in Europe and other places.
These Jihadis would be callously using the plight of bona fide refugees as a Trojan horse to advance an agenda of invasion and conquest, as might be inferred from the public comments of Colonel Gaddafi included at the end of the European Demographics vid.
Should a host country take in people in such large numbers that doing so results in its resources being streched to the point that it brings about its own collapse?
This is would appear to be the concern of the Norwegian PM regarding the situation in Sweden.
Should a host country admit large numbers of refugees if evidence suggests that refugees are being used by Jihadis to infiltrate the host country and bring harm to it...and its citizenry?

A lot of misinformation in this world of ours create monsters, of unsuspecting people who are being fooled. Now i do know i cannot do anything about that, but in small ways help some of the folk sitting in the middles of the mess.
And by the way they do not even have cereal.
A debate on maybe how these problems could be solved would be enlighting. The past is gone, whatever started all this is gone, new solutions to help or even solve the problems. In the mean time i hate to hear that volunteers are discounted whilst the mess is being cleared by people with more nohow than myself. They are not wasting their time by debates that is for sure, and yes some loose their life, but it was not in vain it was helping a fellow human, whilst the bigger mess is being sloved.
Even i am aware of what refugge problem is doing to all countries, mmmmm why are they refuggees?

Vet who enter the country not just a free for all. A free for all only encourages more folk to risk their very lives for a better life for themselves and families.
Maybe do more help in countries that need help. Train them to work the land or find ways to make better for themselves. Long slog that but would be better than them floating across the world for something that people do not want them to have.
I do know people spend their whole lives trying to do just that, certainly puts me to shame sitting dry and clothed shouting my mouth how things are wrong. Or calling my neighbhour names because they do not think the same as your good self.
