Super Tuesday

So far, Biden is doing pretty well. Currently Biden is well ahead; 326 to 219 delegates.

However, about 1/2 the delegates are in California & Texas and those results will not be determined until later.
We may not even know the results even by tomorrow.

I suspect that Bernie will take California, but Biden could take Texas. It may be close there.
Bernie currently has the lead there with the early vote, but Biden has been gaining ground
with the later vote. Regardless, it's much too early to call either of those big numbers states.
Either way, it's evident, that despite Trump's b.s. Ukrainian smear campaign, Biden has had a nice recovery.
It's clear, that the democrat voters have paid no mind to Trump's lies. Good for them.

What else has helped Biden was Amy K dropping out and getting behind Biden.
That helped unite the democrat moderate voters.
What has been hurting Bernie, is Warren still being in the race, dividing the more liberal voters, and the elimination of some caucuses in favor of primaries.
That's ironic, because Bernie helped changed them away from being caucuses.

The bottom line, it has become a 2 man race for the Democratic nominee, and hopefully, the presidency.
There's quite a few states over the next 3 months, that will make a difference.

The Most Important Takeaway From Super Tuesday Has Been Overlooked

The most important takeaway from Super Tuesday (or "Super Thursday" as Biden calls it rolling on the floor laughing), is being overlooked. The pollsters and political "experts" said Sanders would win 8-10 of the 14 states up for grabs and instead, Biden won 10 of them. What does that tell you? It tells you that all of the polls and predictions about Biden's double digit advantage over Trump in the general are the same kind of BULLSHIT that they were in 2016.

Another important takeaway is that Elizabeth Warren (a.k.a. Bernie Sanders with a va*ina and far less ability to successfully fake sincerity) was in it for no other reason than to take votes away from Sanders to take him out. She is clearly being paid off by the DNC to help rig the primary against Sanders *AGAIN*. Once Sanders supporters figure that out, the potential for political nuclear detonation within the Democrat Party is elevated to DEFCON 1.

Another Day Another Bout Of Alzheimer's: Biden Confuses His Wife For His Sister & Visa Versa

It's seriously terrifying to think of this guy in the White House. He doesn't know where he is, what day it is, what office he is running for or the difference between his wife and his sister, to mention a few.

Anti-smartphone space engineer builds cell phone with rotary dial

That takes old-school to a new level.

A space engineer who despises smartphones and text messaging built her own cell phone -- and it has a rotary dial.

Justine Haupt, 34, spent three years creating the cute device, which has a battery that lasts up to 30 hours, according to report in SWNS. The phone, which is 4 inches tall, 3 inches wide and about 1 inch thick, takes an AT&T prepaid SIM card that's compatible with cell phone radio.

Public interest in her writing about the retro phone apparently crashed her website.

Haupt, who works as an astronomy engineer at Brookhaven National Laboratory in New York, has since been inundated with requests from fellow smartphone haters begging for their own version of the phone and she is now offering build-it-yourself kits, SWNS reports.

“I work in technology but I don’t like the culture around smartphones,” she told SWNS. “I don’t like the hyper connected thing. I don’t like the idea of being at someone’s beck and call every moment and I don’t need to have that level of access to the Internet."

The engineer used a 3D printer to create the cell phone case and added speed dialing buttons so she could call her husband and her mother at the click of a button. She also added an e-paper display to the phone so that she could see messages and missed calls.

She wasn't planning on selling the phones, but Haupt ended up creating a kit that users can use to put together their own version of the tiny phone -- minus the rotary dial, although a newer kit will be more inclusive -- after being inundated with emails from people who wanted to purchase the phone.

“It is actually my phone - I don’t carry my flip phone with me anymore," Haupt said. "I never expected to go viral with this."

“But there’s a surprising number of people who have identified with my philosophy of not liking smartphone culture -- I’m pleasantly surprised that those people are out there," she added.

64 year old Mad Mike was the daredevil who proposed a rocket launch to prove the world is flat. Many said take a commercial flight... it's much cheaper!
Yesterday, in another stunt, he attempted a homemade rocket launch that failed and he died.

His steam powered rocket was supposed to launch Hughes 62 miles into the air, clearing the Karman Line, the border between Earth's atmosphere and outer space.

From the ABC story that covered the event:
The rocket launch was intended to be one of three featured in a new Science Channel series, "Homemade Astronauts," which would chronicle the story of self-financed teams "in their cosmic quest to explore the final frontier on limited budgets."

Mike was the guy who was widely regarded as someone who believed the Earth is flat. According to his publicist, It was only a publicity stunt.
