It's not my job...

I'm amazed at the lazy people in this world who go through life doing a job that's less than acceptable. In some cases dangerous. Lots of websites hosting proof of these people doing stupid things.

The oldest one that I know of this the dead animal in the roadway painted over when they striped the lanes. Judging by the cars in the photo it happened a generation ago.

Another example is the restroom partition door that belongs on the side with the toilet and not the urinal. Someone bought materials and supplied labor, probably using engineered drawings to construct this thing.

Of course it's a FULL MOON...

From the time I left the parking lot of my condo at 8:45am until 6:00pm when I returned home, I encountered an amazing amount of aggressive drivers. Three cars in front of me making a U-Turn on a red light. New law? I can wait for the turn arrow. Thanks.
Getting cut off in the parking lot leaving a gas station and that driver runs a red light.
I'm in the middle lane of the turnpike and watching cars on the left of me zoom in front to get into the right lane cutting off cars that were cutting off cars trying to merge onto the turnpike. Shit like this all day!

Of course... it's Friday and a FULL MOON...

The Carlyle Group, David Rubenstein, and the war on Trump

This is a fascinating article, and a real eye-opener on the shadowy organisations and players - in this case the Carlyle Group and David Rubenstein - deeply enmeshed in the war against President Trump throughout his presidency. This organisation and this person are connected to every major event in U.S. politics throughout Trump's presidency - from the RussiaGate (fabricated) scandal, to the engineered UkraineGate impeachment (where it was only Quid Pro Joe who took part in any Quid Pro Quo), to the 2020 election via the acquisition of Dominion Voting Systems in 2018, and even - in the case of Rubenstein - ties to the much talked about Event 201 (and less talked about Clade X) which preceded Covid-19 but ultimately served as a roadmap for government-corporate-news coordination in response to the pandemic. A must read:

Century of the Advocate

In Heaven she is known as the gentle one, the war maker, the Advocate. But she was first called the silent one, dubbed by her family, because, unlike her cousins, when she was hungry, or needed changing, or needed a hug. She laid in silence, and her aunties uncles and grandparents alike LOOOOVED her. Of course her cousins, who werent getting the same amount of attention when she came to their houses HAAAATED her. sigh

She would withdraw, and grow even more quiet, when she watched as her cousins would be angry at her not knowing why only seeing their anger. Her cousins bullied her, however her cousins grew tired of being angry, and left her be. Most of them...

Then there were her parents, they began to resent her too. She was never home for more than 2 days a week IF her parents were lucky. Once both her grandmothers fought over her. One was going to whangai (adopt) her as tradition goes the first born is given to the grandparents so when he or she comes of age takes care of them as Maori ways dictate. BUT the other grandmother was not letting that happen. so to appease grandmother julie she was promised the second born instead.

In the beginning for her parents it was absolutely terrifying when they realized, they did not know when she was hungry and that sometimes they forgot she was there, she would not cry out for their love or for food in her belly. But no one knew why... 'The Old Man' she once called Dod told her why, without realizing, when she was in her late teeens.
One night on the piss her old man told her, "Did you know that while your mum was giving birth to you she yelled 'GET THIS f*ckING THING OUT OF ME!!!'? It was later on when after deep thought she said in her mind, "this is why i became silent" she had become terrified of the most pure and fierce hatred from the person who gave birth to her. little did they know she was that intelligent with next level asp. She would like you to know that the greater the gentleness the higher asp, and hers was extremely high.

I would like to end it here for now she broke down crying you know that ugly cry u get when someone u deeply love who passed as a kid? Out of everyone in her life the one who genuinely loved her was her dog. It is the only pure love and happiness she felt that never wavered because guess what? everyone else did later on in her life...

Thats not the sad part in this situation, she stopped instantly after roughly 5 secs, she is terrified someone might attack her scars at her most weakest moment. People enjoyed hurting her at her lowest...

To be continued.

Truth is a Lonely Path to Tread

‘None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free. The truth has been kept from the depth of their minds by masters who rule them with lies. They feed them on falsehoods til wrong looks like right in their eyes’
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Standing up for truth and freedom requires real courage and an unshakeable determination not to buy into lies in any shape or form. But, it’s not always easy to discern what’s true and what’s not in a world where lies and cover-ups are becoming increasingly prevalent. Simply speaking the truth often leaves truth-tellers open to being attacked by those who place their trust in official sources and seem unwilling to probe beneath the surface by doing their own independent research. The truth is the truth. It’s not your belief or my belief or even what the majority believe that makes it so. The truth is quite simply the truth. Even if most people choose to believe a lie, that doesn’t make it the truth. It just means that those people have been deceived and are agreeing to the collective madness of groupthink.

One of the most effective ways of silencing truth-tellers is to spread disinformation that makes them look ridiculous. Disinformation agents come in many forms and may expose certain things, which have been covered up. But, they also peddle bogus theories and mix fact with fiction in a way that destroys the essence of an argument and the credibility of those speaking out against what is generally deemed to be consensus reality. A number of people have claimed that two well-known figures in the alternative media, David Icke and Alex Jones, are in fact controlled opposition who muddy the water and actually lead people astray. Genuine truth-seekers need to be constantly vigilant and be willing to thoroughly scrutinize all information, regardless of the source. Clearly, discernment is key in differentiating between those who are trustworthy and those who are not.

People who defend mainstream sources of information often seem very reluctant to accept that what is being presented to them may be a distorted version of the facts. They suffer from a strong normalcy bias, which makes it very difficult for some to believe that governments often have ulterior motives and that they lie. Perhaps people can accept that governments do lie on occasions to cover up certain things, but when the magnitude of the lies is huge and all-encompassing, it may seem completely incomprehensible. If the media, so-called fact checkers and many organisations and educational establishments are either directly under government control, recipients of funding from major pharmaceutical companies or party to other conflicts of interest, how can we ever really know how much truth there is in what they say? Speaking out against lies and any form of injustice is crucial if we are ever going to reclaim our basic human rights. When people are silent in the face of lies and deception, they collude with the lies and support a system that is taking away more and more of their freedom.

Issues, issues, let me get you some tissues...

Pandemonium at CS this black Friday. Maybe people got caught up in the holiday spirit and emotions were running high. Complaints and spinoff blogs of deleted comments, banning and blogs that went poof in the night. Obviously, some people didn't have much to do.
Things appear to have calmed down now.

I happened to be involved in a construction project yesterday that involved $4,000 in lumber to remake tables at the flying field. Not much sleep as I was up around 4:30am and got to the lumber store with 6 other guys who loaded a rented truck to move all the stuff to the county park.

About 20 volunteers on and off got nearly all the work done. We have a few benches to fabricate today and that's it for the next 10 years... All the structural lumber is pressure treated and painted. The table tops are of synthetic 1x6 boards that are rated for 25 years.
We removed a bunch of warped and rusty folding tables and 'more than doubled' the amount of setup tables.

Issues, issues, let me get you some tissues...

Ghost Guns...

Basically, it's a term to describe a gun assembled from parts (usually bought online) and has no manufacturers serial number. By purchasing a kit or individual parts, someone can build a gun that cannot be traced back to a manufacturer or gun sale allowing the owner/purchaser to get around the legality of registering the firearm.

That's a new twist on the phrase "If guns were outlawed, only outlaws would have guns."

Valuing first principles over tribal impulse

Good article here by the inimitable Glenn Greenwald on the pervasiveness of tribal impulse in society - and the very real harms that stem outwards as a result. We counteract this, of course, by operating off a solid base of first principles - which apply equally to those we dislike as those we like.

Believe what you want to believe...

People believe what they want to believe, no matter how much contrary evidence you show them.
Last week, someone commented on an old blog that Obama wasn't born in America. Yeah, the birther movement, it's still alive... started by (name omitted) and years later, after America became divided and wasted millions of hours in dispute, were unable to prove that statement. (name omitted) admitted it was fabricated. Everyone heard he came from Africa. Apparently only a few heard it wasn't true, or at least don't want to change their belief.

Some people believe the insurrection on January 6th was a peaceful protest.
