Whom among us is not an antagonist? There is Someone who spends their waking hours bloviating in the blog which they know little about. This person recently decided to pm me and they accused me of, among other things, being an antagonist.

An ANTAGONIST! What a terrible thing to read about oneself. Anyways, not feeling the love, this person is now blocked Blocked and may never pm me again on cs. There are now two humorless bloggers who are blocked from pm ing me.

Someone posted a missing dog sign on the back of a stop sign near a supermarket.

He must be some really special animal for that kind of price.

Actually, I would think the dog was stolen and a reward like that would entice the thief to come forward to get that reward money... at which point the arraigned meeting would also have detectives nearby to capture the person(s) responsible for the theft of the dog.

One thing that is refreshing to see is how the Polish authorities have organised the reception of thousands of refugees. How great that is compared to what is happening the other end of the railway lines. What an excellent example the Polish people have displayed to the world.

Police responded to a tip to search a New York home seeking a girl who was abducted more than 2 years ago. They found the girl after an hour search in a makeshift room under the staircase in a house they had searched before.

While the story was creepy and had lots of hype, I find it strange that someone would abduct a kid and the 2 of them hide away. The residents of the house allowed this to happen and denied knowing about the whereabouts of the girl. For what purpose?

Did the abductor have foresight more a day or two of what the outcome would be?
It's not like Tarzan who raised by apes and survived in the jungle for so many years.

Too weird!

Interesting premise, is it not?

Why is it that people many years ago tried to change their body appearance by putting rings around their neck and adding another and another until gradually the neck became elongated over years. Also binding a baby's head until it became larger. Stretching ears and inserting objects. Stretching lips to the extreme. Images of god's found tattooed on mummies.
It would appear that they had experienced some contact with beings that left a great impression on them or their ancestors and as a result tried to emulate their appearance.
These beings were no doubt perceived as god's because of the advanced technology they brought with them, but they were just flesh and blood space travellers who came here for either raw materials, such as gold, or to have an influence on the primitive people they encountered.
Tattoos and piercings today are probably a remnant in the unconscious mind and why so many people inflict this decoration on themselves.
I can think of no other attractive reason. Can you?
