I went to the model airfield this morning to fly helicopters. Miserable winds gusting to 20 miles per hour made it better to sit under the shade and BS with the other pilots there. Two guys had their scale models out today, both were of the Aérospatiale Gazelle and one was in the yellow rescue paint scheme.

They only fly them once or twice doing very conservative scale-like maneuvers... nothing risky as a few completed models are valued upwards of $20,000.

One guy packed up early and I said "Are you leaving?"
His response was "Yeah, I gotta get home to watch the game"

My first thought was 'the game? you must mean the president and republicans refusal to accept the certified elections results?'

When I got home and turned on the TV, I see it was the Miami Dolphins football game he must have been talking about.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Churchill Downs has suspended trainer Bob Baffert from entering horses at the track and suggested that it would invalidate Medina Spirit's Kentucky Derby victory if the results of a failed postrace drug test are upheld.

The announcement from Churchill Downs came shortly after Baffert held a news conference to announce the failed drug test, which the Hall of Fame trainer vowed to fight "tooth and nail."

Medina Spirit is Baffert's fifth horse to fail a drug test in a year.

The colt won the Kentucky Derby on May 1 by a half-length over Mandaloun.

The only horse to be disqualified for medication after winning the Derby is Dancer's Image in 1968.

Congratulations to the Washington Nationals & their fans.

At one point in the 2019 season, the Nationals' records was 19 wins & 31 losses.
There was much talk about the manager being fired then.
Yet, tonight the Nationals won the World Series 7th & deciding final game with the score of 6 to 2,
winning the championship.

It's the first time the Expos/Nationals franchise has EVER won the World Series.
It was also the first time the visiting teams won all 7 games, something that never happened in
MLB, nor NBA.

The Nationals Juan Soto was the youngest player to hit 3 home runs in a World Series
and the only player to hit one at age 20 and one at age 21 in the same World Series
(He had a birthday during the series).

Except for the terrible umpiring regarding the inconsistent strike zone, it was a terrific series complete with some excellent defensive plays.

The judge got whacked... and he got ejected.
US Open 2020 grand slam tennis event at Flushing Meadows, Number one ranked Novak Djokovic during a match dropped a serve and in a moment of anger fired a ball behind accidentally hitting a line judge. Apology didn't help and Djokovic was ejected from the tournament.
Djokovic, was 26-0 in 2020 going into the match. His opponent Carreno Busta won the match by default.

PORTLAND, OR—In a development that many are calling the most stunning and brave thing to ever happen in the world of sports, a WNBA point guard has come out as heterosexual.

The player, Megan Frederickson, has been playing for the Portland Fire for the last four years. She's broken many records over her short career, becoming the first player to score three baskets in a game, the first player to go over sixty seconds without a total air ball, and the first player to play a whole game without bursting into tears. She even got a record twelve fans to tune in to one of her games.

But now, she's shattering her most significant barrier yet, becoming the first out heterosexual player in the league.

Frederickson came out to her fans and teammates in an emotional video posted to TikTok Thursday.

Frederickson's wife is broken up but says she understands and supports the player's choice to live out her truth in a heterosexual relationship.
