This weekend is the "Electric Love" music festival in my community, blasting electronic music and heavy bass all weekend. Although the organizers say no drugs or alcohol, obviously it's pretty impossible to stop that.

The festival is held on First Nations land, a fishing village, down by the river. Due to the surrounding mountains and water, the music echoes and reverberates back into the community. I'm several miles away, and it's loud enough for me to have to wear ear plugs at night.

Above the fishing village, the entire area is dotted with homes on acres of farmland. The residents near the village complain bitterly about the noise for three days, as the music starts at 11:00am and blasts until 4:00am daily. It used to go until 8:00am, but they changed it this year in consideration of the residents. Still, Imo, if you have to get up at 5:00 am, a 4:00am closing isn't much of a reprieve.

Last night, one of the local farmers posted in our local community fb page that one of the over-indulged ravers, half naked, had entered his property, let all the young dairy cows out of their pens, and was herding them around. The said partier then proceeded to go for a swim in their manure pit, at which point he was cornered, hosed off and arrested.

What on earth would possess anyone to swim in pit of cow manure? Ewww! Gross. Fortunately, neither the cows or anyone else was hurt - and one can only hope the guy is made to go back to the farmer and apologize and forced to work his farm for awhile.

I get that people don't like how many of the cows are kept these days, but this is someone's livelihood, and they are in compliance with the industry standards. Many of the farms out here do not keep their cows penned up all the time, and in fact, let them out in the fields for the summer. We used to put our horses 'to bed' at night, so it stands to reason that the cows are brought in for their evening feed and 'bed' at night.

Regardless of anyone else's opinion, the farm is owned by the farmer, and anyone trespassing should be prosecuted. The judge should have a field day with this guy, that's for sure.

This is definitely a story worthy of the Darwin Award. You just can't make this stuff up.

I noticed yesterday when I just got to work I was already thinking wow I wish it was 8 and I would be off work. Well that didn't happen and you no what glad it didn't, met some interesting people and had some good conversation.

Point is I would have lost valuable time if I would have got my wish for time to advance and just lost it. How many times have we said just hurry up and get it over with, or not today maybe later in some other time.

I forgot where it was ..but a couple of years ago..I think it was at a Cemetery..Anyway The small American Flags that put down next to the Markers one day ,were found to be gone the next/Someone complained and the Cops were Notified to keep an eye out for the Vandals..Well ,they put New flags down once again and the cops kept driving by and at one point were parled there most of the night/And when Daylight broke.The Flags were gone once more/The cops even said it was impossible because they were there and saw nothing/Thats all/Now the town is in an uproar over who are these cruel kids doing this to Veterans who are gone now?//Somebody finally had enough and Installed a Camera in the tree nearby...."We will prosecute them to the full extent of the law!"(said the cops!)..And in the morning all that was there was the sticks that the Flags were on/They went right to the Camera and looked at the footage to see who it was/And yep/They caught him,they got him red handed now!/All this time what was taking the flags was good ole Mr Woodchuck who lived nearby/They put a Camera down the hole he came out of and there was all the flags he was using for a nest.....Did they prosecute Mr Woodchuck?(Theyre still not sure how)(he wasnt evicted either)
